Also, finished the drawing from earlier, trying out some new techniques. I edited my lineart brush a bit to improve its pressure sensitivity and I’m liking it a lot more for this super thick-lined digital style. I title this one, “ Get in the fucking soul gem, Madoka!”

His name's Gabe. I usually make gifs of him doing shit. Here's some of my older 2020 art I made when I originally used stop motion. I used Blender now because the phone I used to do stop motion (a Samsung Qalaxy Note 2) turned into shit. It wasn't even my phone, my older sister used to use it before getting a new one (She's 21 and out of the house now.)

I think it happened i learned how to anatomy just by looking at some of my artists work and taking the advice on board i received here...

Massive improvement from before, good job! However, with the wings it’s very obvious that you drew them head-on and then skewed them into the proper orientation, because the perspective on them makes them look like cardboard cutouts and not 3D objects - mostly noticeable on the claws of the back wing.

It takes me 2-5 days to make. And depending on how much frames there are or the complexity of the scenery, it either 40 minutes, 1-2 hours or even an entire night. After uploading it, I ethier make another one, goof off on Kiwi Farms or have fun playing Postal 2.

At the moment just modeling from the waist up. The course I was in teached us how to modeling sculpting, lighting, proportions, etc. I stopped doing it because I got bored but eventually they would teach us to draw sets, scenarios, expressions, males, etc.
Drawing hentai has its own rules and science behind it, which the average coomer doesn't even realize.

I like this design, I do have some general critisism that are a bit subjective.
Personally I usually try to not do a symmetrical pose for wings, usually having one open on the side that faces the camera and the other just being a kind of front view of the wing, looks more interesting, I also think that your style would look better with a less realistic looking propotions like keeping the arms and legs the same but making the torso smaller.

Lel I will be changing the far wing to be less symmetrical, but i'll vbe keeping them both kinda fanned out in the way they are.
As for the proportions, i usually do go for a very short torso and longer legs due to using myself as a reference, but i really wanted to branch out from that because what often ends out happening is that very mature demons end up looking rather childlike. I know it isn't as down with my style as usual but a lot of that will probably be disguised when I get around to making the outfit. If she dresses anything like me she'll have a sash above her waist to give her a sense of petiteness but I'm not truly sure what her outfit will be like, I kinda wanna do a sweater again but a more brief one with possible a boob window. But there's a lot of options and I've been having enough fun with sweaters lately as is, I'll probably do a hoodie thats off the shoulders at the back and some minishorts or something. It's a new character so i need to work out her motif beyond the 'A' in her name as well as her relevance that I plan to have her add to the story and why after years upon years of being absent she has returned.
All this kind of stuff will help with her outfits direction and possibly lead to me changing some other parts of her.

I procrastinated on this pretty hard but alas, I can never be kept away for long... what a truly fun piece to work on... at least until my tablet went HORNY ON MAIN AND FUCKING SACRIFICED IT'S ABILITY TO PROPERLY DETECT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEN TOUCH AND PEN HOVER. So as a result the second half of the shading (skin and hair, singularly, thank goodness) was malefacted with a malfunctioning tablet. How apt the Demon Queen of Betrayal can literally make my tablet betray me just for the act of drawing her, truly... I have delved down a dark path here.
Anyway, R.I.P my 8 year old bamboo wacom that no one even makes anymore, was kinda the next thing i was expecting to replace, anyway.
With all that out of the way, here's the beauty.
Astaroth: Demon Queen of Betrayal
Mighta gone a little ham with the effects but it doesn't detract from the piece and it gives it an otherworldly glow, which i did want. one of my large inspirations is an artist who goes by Shiki G2. (Phsychedelic)
The only real issue is how the two feet are positioned... but it's a little late to go back and fix it now, although it might just be the background i used.

Lol, hands and feet are hard. Feet took me a long time to get the hang of because they’re sort of a weird complicated shape and even now foot positioning is the thing I’m most prone to fucking up.
Another comment I have is that the lighting/shading doesn’t fit with the background at ALL. The massive white light source in the background immediately draws the eye to it, and demands that the drawing be backlit.

Yeah the background was entirely an afterthought, after my tablet went rogue and I had to borderline freehand the shading for the skin and hair I was not in any hurry to go and spend ages on a BG, I definitely could have chosen a better one, though. The lighting on her was built to serve an up and to the left but ALSO behind the camera lightsource. I might look into alternatives later.

Bad news is I won't be able to draw much for a while due to a renewed lockdown here and my tablet being bad and broken so I'll just play a shit ton of autism-enabling games until my broke ass can afford to replace my tablet. I can always draw with pencil and stuff if I get the urge.
