I fell too deep into the /vpmdg/ autism, open the spoiler at your own risk

I tried drawing them all to-(dex)-scale, but perspective kind of messed with it and now it's a bit of a mess. Just ignore that lol.
This is also by far the largest thing i've ever drawn (in terms of character amount, not actual size...unless you count layers) as well as the one that took the longest (5 days). Came after a 2-week drought of drawing nothing... hopefully that doesn't show too hard lol

Finished my drawing of Fudo-myoo yesterday! Here's to summarize the different elements in it...

Fudo-myoo is a Buddhist protector of the Dharma and leader of the Wisdom Kings mainly venerated in forms of Vajrayana Buddhism. Fudo is usually depicted as a blue, red or black-skinned "demonic" being (looking at the facial characteristics), wielding chains and his sword Kurikara, from which Fudo's dragon form emerges here.

There are various origin stories for the deity, one of them being that he actually is a redeemed demon. His (as well as the other Wisdom Kings') fierce appearance is more or less a tool for intimidating other beings, warning them about the consequences of bad deeds.

In my drawing Fudo-myoo is seated on a rock or cliff of sorts, which is a traditional symbol for his unshakeable Buddhist faith, earning him the title of the "Immovable One". The other two characters are his attendants Kongara-doji and Seitaka-doji.

Major necroposting, and I think the poster has been inactive for a few years, but I cannot express how awesome this piece of art is. The artist even included the mantra of Fudo in actual Siddham script.
