A year ago, I started a personal pet project I called "Red and Green", a shitty webcomic loosely based on stick-fighting animations hosted on a now defunct Neocities page.
I've decided to make a quick doodle to celebrate the occasion.

I plan to reintroduce the characters and the expand the cast sometime in the future (probably a couple months from now), likely in a new webcomic hosted on an actually good site. Maybe the webcomic will actually be good this time. But don't get your hopes up.

I have a WIP that I'm working on to learn Krita. I'm pretty happy with Krita and the layers. Before this I only really ever drew on paper with pens and pencils, or some traditional painting in college. This is a lot... easier. Lower risk. You can hit undo, open a new layer, stuff like that.

I'll post it once I'm done. Like most things I do anywhere, it's cringe but I'm also proud of it, somehow.

OK I finished this. I feel there's a joke to be made here about how men play Elden Ring (beat Malenia 4000 times, obsessively rank gear to determine BIS for every build at early, mid, and late game stage) and how women play Elden Ring, where you end up with content like this:

for the last 2 days i was trying to figure out a thing and i need your help
firstly i did the coloring and digitizing

Second is a t-shirt design feel free to criticize anything you see since i have no idea what i am doing
so first i had to make a logo
i only had 1 idea so it might be shit:

not sure about the font choice but i can easily change that
second is a t-shirt design and i narrowed to these 3
Front is on the left and back is on the right

first is golden text and slightly brighter image

second is bluish-purple text and slightly darker image

instead of text on the front will be logo either on top or bottom
text should be translated from Latin as "defender of bad ideas" but it was machine translation and i dont trust it
so if any of you by chance know Latin can you spellcheck it?
i do plan do the version without a text but i need to figure out this version first
obviously, you can mix and match the elements that you like so please do tell which version do you prefer
 
I had zero clue how hard thumbnail sketching is, I always thought it look easy, but making designs that are easily readable without repeating similar shapes is surprisingly difficult.

I'm working on wrapping loose stones. Trying to get better at stone/gem identification but I believe this is a cut smoky quartz.

for last shirt, I think top looks better for your front logo, it also easier to noticed if someone just happens to like it. has opposed to lower corner, but you could do test of both, maybe run limited run with each and see which is popular choice, also I don't think you need text on front of shirt, I think the dice logo does a better job has front logo, but that my opinion anyways
 
Geuinely tried to practice drawing except I had frustrated myself since I spent over 15 minutes just drawing my fundamentals and then freezing up by not figuring out how to even apply them to anything. But eventually I just said fuck it and found some fun in doodling these things. The otter pic was me actually trying and the second was just me fucking around.

I'm gonna try and see if watching YouTube tutorials might help.

Personally I got decently far by just doodling, only recently did I pick up drawing for beginners by Proko and started working on fundamentals, wouldn't really stress it that much, itll come with time has I found anyways. For example, these tank sketches I did, only recently did I decide to use boxes to draw in. The more important part is consistency.

Something looks off, I think the leg on zombie skull is problem, but looks believable enough I think, I plan to color it to.

Bull's-eye
There's not too much going on with the subject itself. The background is my favorite part of this piece.
Bouquet of roses
A bouquet of flowers in addition to a bottle of champagne. I went out of my comfort zone a bit by using more darks in greater quantity than I usually do in this book, which I should do more of because this looks fantastic.
Astute observers will realize that this is from Agent 47's suite in Hitman's Bangkok level.

Aurora borealis sky
The aurora borealis zigs across and beyond the skyline during the sunset (sunrise? idk). The camera's perspective is at the bank of a long river surrounded by mountainous fjords. Imprints from above are reflected into the river's crystal clear water. This is the first drawing in this book that I've used colored pencils for. If I went back and did this again I'd probably use a slightly darker shade of red for the aurora borealis, but otherwise pretty good.
Boombox
Pepe the frog is holding his boombox and listening to some refined tunes.
Ticket stub
This is such a boring prompt that I needed to bring a friend to make this one remotely interesting.
