Thanks. I really was thinking of how Chris would imagine in his head what the characters look like. I was surprised to find out Kel was a actually 20 in the series. She looks like a little girl. It also took me an hour to sketch (minus finding references and just thinking how to draw it) so I know it takes more effort to draw really well. I also graduated from the art department at a state school, so I feel kinda jealous that Dobson went to an art school and really just coasted through the courses. He could be making a living off of self-publishing. I'll actually post something I am working on. It's taking longer because I work full-time. But I will post a theory about Dobson in his thread. Also crits on that.

I couldn't tell if she was a teen or not. Someone doing one of those "Let's Read" of Sonichu thought 16 and was annoyed when it came to issue 10 retconning a relationship she has with Naitsirhc who though he was the same age as Chris. Whatever, I don't need to care about that.

Don't take it too bad. My younger brother took my high school's "Commercial Art" course they offered as part of their 2-year vocational program, yet he never once made much out of it in his life, and currently works at an appliance shop in town (he use to be in a furniture showroom for a decade before they went out of business). I never took a vocational course at all as I wanted to go the college preparatory route, yet that didn't do much for me neither.

I'll actually post something I am working on. It's taking longer because I work full-time. But I will post a theory about Dobson in his thread. Also crits on that.

This is Mandy. She's a character of mine for the comic I've been working on, and has existed (as a character, obviously) in some form for a long, long time.

A venty limited-palette self-portrait, AKA my current icon. I've been enjoying the whole drippy effect lately--it's fun to draw.

This one's just a dumb joke, requested by a friend of mine. The prompt was "Squidward in shutter shades." There was no context so I kinda just rolled with it.

I've actually been drawing a fair bit lately and I really think I'm starting to improve somewhat.

EXAMS ARE OVER, ALL MY PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED ART IS STILL IN THE WORKS, CANNOT WAIT TO FINISH.

I decided to draw Solaire fighting the Gaping dragon from dark souls but I committed waaaaay too hard and I'll probably do it as a colored image to hopefully help me get over my intense fear of multiple light sources (Yes I will post when I'm done).

Also I'm happy to come back and see the gorgeous art people have been doing damn the Cwckiforums have a buttload of talent (that includes you @Ancani be proud of your work).

personal idea as to what the protagonist of five nights at freddy's 2 might look like. plus combat flashlight. when i was a really little kid, my dad had this serious HUGE-ass black flashlight that you could totally kill people with, and it had a textured grip area, and it was really heavy and solid metal. totally a combat flashlight. which would really come in useful when you find yourself being assaulted by renegade animatronics.

i wasn't around when we had a chuck e cheese in my hometown, but it became a chinese diner. people called it "chuck e chin's", and it still had the chuck e cheese carpeting and allegedly a REALLY creepy room full of chuck e cheese stuff, but i never saw it.

i was disappointed to learn that this hot new game was not like silent hill, but rather like night trap. well, that's what imaginations and paper are here for.

the problem isn't with my scanner, it's with this shitty ass fucking horrible software.

Where I lived, CEC wasn't here at all for the entire 1980's, what we had instead were clones of the concept like Razz-Ma-Tazz Pizza Palace and Major Magic's All-Star Pizza Revue, the later of which stayed open in my area for nearly 30 years, it's a shame to see it close. We didn't get a CEC until the mid 90's and by then I was already a high school guy (or already gone to college). We never had the other guys who ended with CEC in the end, Showbiz Pizza, though I remember their ads well from Detroit TV.

Actually pretty much all the art in this thread is fantastic. You should all be proud.

And speaking of which, here's what I spent the better part of last night drawing. I'm linking to it instead of just posting the pic 'cause it's HUGE (I'm gonna be printing it out, so I had to draw it at 300 dpi) and really looks best when viewed in its entirety. I'm not terribly happy with how her hand looks (in my defense, drawing hands is a fucking pain in the ass and I'm still learning), but the rest of it came out okay, IMO. Especially the hair, I'm proud of that.

I think I'ma start experimenting with colored lineart more, since I really like the effect it had here...
