This is character concept I was working for a comic I wanted to do a couple years ago. Now I dusted her off and am going to try and incorporate her into a comic book that I working on how. I respect this a lot! Making a comic is hard work. Are you planning on crowdfunding this?
Although I think that you should make the sound effects actual sound effects instead of telling the reader what they are.

I'll share some of my experience and thoughts behind these...

One of my first digital inks I believe, I think it was also done around 4 years ago! Looks pretty ok imho, but the strokes are actually pretty unrefined, and I think I used too many techniques, making it a little too complicated for my taste. Of course, Photoshop has improved throughout the years, back then, PS is pretty bad for lineart, it makes wiggly lines, right now, it has it's own stabilizer!
I am pondering if I should remake this ink piece just to see if how my skills have improved. I guess if I have the time, I might.

Captain Levi, and also basic af. Lines too thick, too dark, pose is incomplete, direction unclear lol. This is pretty not salvageable, maybe except his handsome face...

Just these 2 first, post some oldies again soon!

Kuroro Lucifer from Hunter X Hunter. I did a Kuroro too last time, and it wsa crappy lol. (I miss HunterXHunter....)

Just look at this shit, I'm so proud of it lol, it's like 4 years ago I think. Now mine look more like traditional ink, with all the textures and 0 airbrushing.

more attempt at making something with a little bit of art nouveau, belle epoque, fin de siecle styling. I really like the look of those lovely, intricate art nouveau borders, but I have a hard time making even a very simple, incomplete one from my imagination.
