Gonna be that doubleposting prick for a moment. I missed a spoiler and actually wanted to toss some input.

My only real suggestion is to try and structure your draws with a higher sense of depth. It's a pretty hard thing to grasp, but a decent way is to sort of lump your structure/anatomy with the shapes of the things as they would be in 3D. I try and avoid drawing the structures/limbs/whatever at the same angle/same position because it's easier and instead focus more on having organic weight. It will usually end up with the same sort of look (as there are only so many ways to draw specific bodyparts/bodytypes) but the process of getting there forces you to learn.

Not the best example, but I mainly just sort of blob things on top of the basic structure and then erase lines.

edit: made my advice slightly more coherent. I was half asleep oops

During my hellacious burn out I just desperately started doodling shit in my art book and then remembered the line of movement and got super back into art, lmao.

So here's this floof I drew in 5 hours from naught to all.

Her sword can double as a shield, lel.

After that I decided to really go ham and draw this character after ages of not drawing her.

Me drawing guns continues to be suck. :0 I got enough otherwise right though that I don't really care.

Decided to finally try my hand at using more than just GB colour palettes. Ended up choosing the colours of Murasaki Forest from Mother 3 for practice. I'll probably notice that everything looks wrong later, but I certainly don't feel my time was wasted here.

That's why I posted something I'm probably not going to post anywhere under my actual name, even though I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

I really do like that sketch @Lime Rogue . It's got a lot of personality for something so simple.

WIP redesign of one of the most universally despised Bionicle designs. In the story, they're wearing special "adaptive armor" that can change form to protect against different hostile environments, so I decided to re-interpret the design as sort of like the HEV suit from Half-life, with a smoother shell with no exposed joints or mechanical detailing. Easily the most hated design element is the mask, which I instead re-interpreted as an airtight helmet that goes over her original mask, keeping with the "protective suit" idea. I kept most of the important design elements (color scheme, armor shaping, mask design) while changing up the proportions to be more humanoid and adding back the original mask to tie it back to the character it's based on.
