I wanted to practice drawing ice, so I found a swag ice rock tutorial and made this

Really like the style of this, even though it's obviously digital it almost kind of reminds me of an oil painting, with how you're using really rough brushstrokes but still managing to capture the "realism" of the scene.

Did you use anything for reference?

There was some photograph I remember seeing a while ago that I recently found again. It looked really nice so I did a study

It's been awhile since my last post. My laptop decided to off itself last month, so I had to alternate to drawing on phone/cheap tablet, using a stylus with flat pen pressure.

So here's my current "progress":

How do people get to drawing male clothing? Males seems so restrictive compared to the range women's clothing have. Like I could imagine so much clothing for women-dresses, revealing, bikinis, and so on, while if pressed for males, I could think casual, nobility, suits, and stop there. It's like its easier to make clothing for women (and if anything thrown at her doesn't fit her look, it needs a tiny change or two), while I would be hard-pressed to make anything for males that requires a lot of thinking and effort that isn't "guy in suit/armour #213489435756". I'm not saying suits nor armours are bad-they're cool-, it's just... Why is it so hard to think of more clothing for males?
It doesn't help that males tend to dress more functional, while women adds some flamboyanance here and there.

In my humblest advice: Go fucking nuts. Do whatever you want.

If art isn't going my way i don't try to keep it in play. I just wait until I get that spark back and I can feel comfortable drawing again.
I got that spark back.

Unusual for me to do something so heavily stylized on a whim but it is what it became!

Not sure what kind of male outfits you are looking for but when I need outfit inspirations what I like to do is just browse the male section of online outfit web shops and save the outfits that I like from there. I especially like to browse high end fashion websites because some outfits are so weird/goofy/unusual, it really makes my imagination go wild.
