Maybe because it is not that well drawn. The proportions are not that good ( the torso and shoulders are too wide compared to the arms and legs and the head might be a bit too small), not sure if you want to go for a more exaggerated style or not but you should probably start with learning basic anatomy first before doing that. The weapon looks kind of broken too.Ok, this may sound autistic, but I see that you, and people from other sites, seem to not like my Inquisitor drawing. Can someone give me a critique explaining, why it's that way?
You gotta start with the basic shapes. One thing that people will tell you is the obvious "deconstruct everything into more basic shapes and build from there", which helps a lot on getting sketches done. After that, you begin working up the details in each part.I haven't drawn in years (and even then it was only occasionally), but everything I've drawn so far looks no better than the stuff I did when I was nine, and all I had then was pencil and paper without the ability to make a rough sketch on a separate layer. The most frustrating thing is that I "see" what I'm trying to draw in professional graphic novel-level detail, with my own drawing style, but when I try sketching that mental image it comes out as a total mess and I'm forced to omit details until it looks like what you see above.
