That's some pretty clean linework, ngl. Very confident strokes, and a roundness in them that suits the appearance of the character? She seems like a gentle, but also assertive moon/night deity. At least she looks a bit magical with that foot ring ^^Will very likely turn this into a full color render, just need a pick me up to go ahead with it.

Why thank you~ Yeah I can probably stand to nudge the face up some, I have it on it's own layer so that wont be remotely troublesome. It used to be an absolute mess of a draft and went through multiple changes before i posted this version. That's some pretty clean linework, ngl. The face could be a bit higher up, maybe a bit bigger, and the forehead reduced, but other than that it seems pretty proportional. I like the crescents, and her design with the flowy hair. Like the curtain of the night

As for the design, I was enjoying God Kiana from Honkai Impact 3rd so some of MihoYo's good design ideas may have leaked onto my own canvas but people have said they can't easily tell, which is a good thing, really. I've been listening to BeFall on repeat for the past four days.
Thanks for the response, a reply with well detailed and valid feedback was the last thing I expected, I think this is the first time it's actually happened for me here, lmao.
It's just a shame I haven't done any work on art since then, been too busy working on my game and procrastinating on being busy working on my game by being busy farming exp cards in Genshin Impact instead.
My gamer life has turned into a cyclical Gacha Girl hell and I love it.
Here giving honest feedback is the usual, as well as asking for advice. As bas as the reputation of the average forum user is, here we try to stick to honesty since it's good to see people improve. Thanks for the response, a reply with well detailed and valid feedback was the last thing I expected, I think this is the first time it's actually happened for me here, lmao.

It happens a lot when you go for a hyper realistic style that you think you go into the uncanny valley when you try to do lively expressions like sadness or happiness. But you shouldn't go too hard on yourself, specially when you draw from models. tbh, you did a really good job there, i specially like the laugh lines and the hair, and it looks solid in general. Probably one thing that irked me is how the eyes are off because it seems that both of them aren't looking at the same point. But maybe it's me.All in all I'm not really happy with my faces, something's always off. Jawline is weird and his eyes and mouth are too big. It changes how his face is structured and that's not good. Just, it's also late and I'm tired.
Thank you so much for your encouragement. I don't really share my stuff a lot, so hearing feedback and advice is really nice. Especially when it comes from someone who seems to have experience with what they're talking about? I'm glad you like them, and thanks for the compliments, though the thing with them looking in different directions isn't just you, don't worry. I have trouble with that ever since I started drawing eyes ^^It happens a lot when you go for a hyper realistic style that you think you go into the uncanny valley when you try to do lively expressions like sadness or happiness. Also, amazing job with the nude model. I really like how great the torso looks.
I would tell you that if a filthy knucklehead like me can do it, so can you. You will need a lot of time and practise in order to get results, as well as study a lot in order to get a hold on proper anatomy, proportions and a lot more stuff like composition anc color theory. But if i can get pleasing results, you can do it too.i just like making my lousy pixel art, man. i've always been trash at trad. it's really cool seein' all the stuff folks here can make.
We all need a bit of encouragement from time to time. Sometimes it's hard to see progress in your own works or you go really hard on yourself for not doing as good as you know you can do. I know it too well and even if i know nobody will be able to avoid those, the best we can do is show appreciation and support. Sure, our works might not be the cream of the crop, but seeing how someone is learning, sharing constructive criticism is one of the best ways to send some moral support.Thank you so much for your encouragement. That's the reason why I tend to just leave them blank, but that might just make it worse, thinking about it. Every sunday I focus on stuff that gives me trouble, maybe I should do eyes next. Ears can wait some longer :>
Those are really great. I really like the colors, specially the second one. It's really good.Wow, all the stuff posted here is amazing.
Haven't shared anything in a while, so here's a colored sketch of sorts.
Just a doodle since i haven't found the time to finish anything in a while ;(

And here's a pretty old drawing, unfinished since it got deleted.
Looks a bit silly now but i used to be very proud of it so might as well share :]

Oh... oH nO!You need a break from time to time or else you will end up burnt out... Unless you go for Gacha games. Those things are cancer.
I got my pick me up...Will very likely turn this into a full color render, just need a pick me up to go ahead with it.

I forgot to make it bigger but i think moving it a bit higher up did enough, but I'll let you be the judge of that. If it isn't big enough i can just scale the entire face layer-folder for easy fixing. The face could be a bit higher up, maybe a bit bigger.
Those are pretty nice. You using models for them?I have been drawing some arms and trying to get it right.

I see the shape in general is good, but the problem (like with me) is the elbow and the forearm. But for now you are doing nicely and remember: depending on if the arm is from a muscular, lean or fat person, the shape will be different.
