Do the same to Chris, but use your 25 years old backup of him so we can get high school Chris back. But thanks for your dedication to keeping shit running, Josh.

"All lolcow threads will be placed on archival-quality tape backup and stored in a temperature-controlled vault, for millennia to come."

It is time.

I was thinking more just something I could keep in a .zip file.

1. Hit "Ctrl" and" P" button simultaneously
2. Set "Number of Copies" to "99999999999999999999989"
3. Hit "Enter" button (that big L-shaped thingy near the middle of the keyboard)
5. PROFIT
This straight up doesn't work. Even when using a PDF tool the output is just unformated gibberish with unselectable text. I'd prefer something better than just taking screenshots.

Nooooo! I made like two good posts and lost all of those internet points? how else will I validate the failure that is my life?

i just got a weird Error 523 'origin unreachable' cloudflare page. anyone else? haven't seen that particular error since any of the DDoS attacks started months ago

  • Ctrl + S
  • Rename it to at least add a page number
  • Save as type: Web Page, Complete
  • Turn off internet
  • Open file to make sure it really got all the assets (the name of the type you want might vary from browser to browser)
  • Reconnect, get all the other pages
There's also this interesting thing from the software endorsements thread, but I've never actually tried it myself:
For Windows + Chrome derrivative users. Creates an archive of every page you visit verbatim in an offline folder. You can browser the internet archive using localhost:22120 when offline. Would be useful to make sure you never miss an archive..
