When looking through the Jap Xitter account the account posted the same day as the English one only instead of promoting the cunny Twitch badge it just posted the usual promotional material:

Seems like the Twitch badge is only for Western users to see and use, not an international promotion. Which to me seems like a targeted push to normalize pedophile memes into Western culture more and not an unintentional design choice.

I do find it funny Null brought up the Walking Dead example in his post because I remember playing Season 2, the one where you play as Clementine, and there was an adolescent girl you met while you were sneaking around trying to find medical supplies to dress a dog bite. She was a CHILD acting within the parameters of how CHILDREN normally act, especially ones who've never stepped outside the house because their father, rightfully, wants to keep them protected. At some point during the game, this child, and your group, ended up getting kidnapped and held prisoner by some crazy pocket society tyrant and this CHILD wasn't too happy about being made a slave and asking her FATHER to hit her while she was, rightfully, upset that her world before in her father's house was toppling down.

Her father dies at some point and this CHILD doesn't know how to process it and this CHILD is struggling to process everything that's happened to her from watching her dad get eaten by zombies (I think?) to having to constantly change settings which can really upset a CHILD.

So basically because this CHILD acted like a CHILD within the parameters of a child who's lived in a comfortable household with very little hardship, guess what? Men who played the game fucking hated her. They hated her because she was acting like a CHILD because that's how CHILDREN act in these situations. I've seen comments saying shit like "I don't know, I just hate children and she just really annoyed me" when asked why people hated her. I guarantee you these people who are acting like it's all based would probably get into parenthood and hate it. Because their idea of parenthood isn't exactly what they had in mind.

Funny story. "Marriage" in DD is tied to affinity, which is tied to how much you've interacted with that character. I put marriage in quotes because I remember it mainly just results in that character showing up near the end and in a cutscene where the dragon looks into your heart.
A lot of DD players allegedly ended up with merchants because those would be the characters you'd naturally interact with the most.

From what I've seen, the developers and director behind the game have no malicious intent, as I haven't seen any claims that the game sexualizes Diana. It looks like the lolicons, who have nothing to do with the game itself, are at fault here, not the developers or Capcom themselves.
