My brother was playing it so I tried it and asked him about it. Gameplay is tight but nothing special, I think it's praised because the bar for FPS has been in hell for so long. The story is shallow and does nothing with a trope we've seen before, there's not really logical lead up to character development, but basically all Crapcom games have shit stories that are duct taped together now. The game relies on moe fanservice to cover up its weak spots and the 'true' ending isn't really worth it, but if you want it take the time to 100 it the first time through.
