No. He was driven mad by discovering the death of his daughter and that the company he worked for was responsible for it and hid it for a time. The evil pragmata was a successful prototype while Diana was a failure that he banished to the shadow realm.

Apparently this is what people want. Anyway keeping on thread i just beat the game and for anyone playing definitely go for the secret true ending. My only complaint was how short the game felt. Once i 100% it on Lunatic i will likely forget it. OK trashcan away. Im sure that will save exploited children in the real world.

Neat! A Dead Space clone that features wholesome themes about family and adoption using an uncanny-if-adorable little girl companion! I can't wait for the internet to be totally normal about this, and for this game to be in no way a Rorschach test between people that think the ghost of Shinzo Abe is speaking to them and people that shouldn't live within 500 yards of a playground/school!

It took me around 24 hours to roll credits going back to unlock and collect everything + doing most of the training sims. I could easily see putting in another 8-10 hours in if you want to complete the Unknown Signal room that you unlock in the end, not counting a Lunatic or NG+ playthrough.

I might eventually do a NG+ just to see the other weapons you can't unlock in the first playthrough and experiment with the loadouts more. They give you a fuck ton of abilities but no real reason to use more than 2 or 3.
 
I've been playing the game. I genuinely do not see a loli/porn angle. Is there a problem with loli in general? Yes and I despise using that term because we have one already. It's called CSAM.
My childhood favorite game was Dark Cloud 2. There's an outfit for Monica that's skimpy. She's 15 in game. Google "dark cloud 2 monica outfits" and you will that. Does that make it "loli" aka CSAM? No. As a kid I thought nothing of it and as an adult I just remember the fun game I used to play that now has features that are a big oof.
Moral of the story is that people are being faggots about a very innocent 9000 year old android girl.

I've been playing this game, too. I trust Capcom to mostly avoid DEI crap and to produce decent games, particularly 3rd person shooters with exploration elements and after the horrible era of Resident Evil 6/Operation Raccoon City/Umbrella Corps. I've mostly seen homosexual antinatalists badmouthing this game, I've seen Japanese and American millennial chuds realize their window for fatherhood is closing, and I want to support anything that portrays family life in a positive light. The character interactions are hokey, the combat is stilted with somewhat ineffective weapons (reminds me of trying to readjust my plasma cutter to try to cut limbs), and the exploration feels way more grounded/linear than Dead Space. I'd prefer confusing 3D maps where I can walk on walls and manipulate giant machines with kinetic modules, not a menu map that has almost zero detail and completely lacking in interaction. I still want to support this game, because the gameplay isn't completely without merit and I want more media that venerates fatherhood.

That said, they really should have given Diana shoes. Between this and the little barefoot white-haired girl from RE9, someone at Capcom Japan needs their harudo-duraifu checked.
 
I love everyone still pretending the main issue with the game isn't the rancid fucking community that was too pedophilic for reddit and how Capcom is willing to cater on socials. You make things easy for the list makers.

The real problem with Pragmata is that there are open pedophiles proclaiming their love for it and the ones busy looking for lewd mods. You don't need to go accusing people of being secret pedos for defending it.
