I agree that there are a lot of truly deranged individuals who've been given a free pass in recent years to act out their perversions. But realize that such an unnatural and off-putting lifestyle only existed and multiplied with intense institutional support.

Without an army of activists, "allies", HR enforcers, fawning Media, and cutesy gender-ambiguous children to hide behind and generate sympathy with, all you have left are middle aged men with lingerie fetishes, and lesbian goblinas that look unfit to even be Starbucks baristas. Normal people who played along due to the threat of career/reputational damage no longer will, so you're mostly going to have real-world encounters which will be horrifying to the average person.

You'll have the occasional spergout by militant troons denied the constant attention and affirmation they demand, and the astronomically higher rates of molesteration, both of which will push public opinion further against them. The battle isn't yet won, but it seems to be at a real inflection point.

While I can support your optimism, I can't agree with your prediction because it relies on normal people not just continuing the status quo and the people previously shielding the public from this knowledge to somehow reverse their stance. Like for one, let's be real, even many conservatives aren't fully on the TTD train, whether it be for "live and let live" philosophy's, belief that there are "plenty of good ones who we don't want to negatively effect", propaganda that it should exist but just as an undefined amount that basically just means "less than I normally see", and an overall lack of the real depravity those fuckers get up to.

I personally think if troons quite down just a bit, many conservatives will think they won the battle and that troonism has been defeated, when in reality their degeneracy will continue to be covered up, ignored, misreported, by people who "don't wanna spread hate".

The reason I believe all of this is related to the show "COPS", specifically during it's more popular run in the 90's. The 90's, a time most people remember as less woke, less culturally censored, and a time before a lot of the DEI race/gender/sexuality lies really hit the mainstream.
Now bare with me because I can't find the source I learned this from, and looking into it just brings up a bunch of ACAB bs, but during the 90's the producers of cops noticed that 75% the clips they received, regardless of the area, were of black suspects and criminals. Seeing this, the producers of the show went out of their way to even out the race of the suspects in the videos they showed because for every clip of a white guy they had being a criminal, they had 3-4 clips of a black dudes doing the same thing, with the reason they didn't show them being "not wanting to perpetuate hate".

What this tells me is that even people who have a vested interest in dealing with the facts as they are will cave to pushing propaganda if they think that the reality of a situation would make public hate increase.

I don't think this is possible, for the same reason that the Lolbertarian "I don't care what your pronouns are, just don't force them on me" was never an option, nor was "letting my gay-married neighbours protect their marijuana crop with machine guns".

Half the fetish is forcing normal people to play along, and with endless attention & "affirmation", so they're not going to be content just calling each other "sis" on reddit. They want an audience, parades, Media coverage, movie/tv "representation", and access to your children while they twerk in lingerie, and they want you forced to clap along under the threat of unemployment.

There is no scenario where they play dress-up quietly at home, but if corporate HR departments and school boards lose their mandate to puke nonstop troon propaganda, the fetishists will find the same response they did for 99% of human history: the natural disgust of normal people.

I think we'll eventually see deranged rightoid grifters coming up in the next 2-5 years. I'm saying this not because republicans are stupid, but because grifters will fall into any opportunity that gives them asspats (like baked alaska). When right wing becomes more safe, more people will latch on for asspats.

My guess is at least one of the new groups of crazies that will crop up will be conservative, and likely more cultish and giving answers and community to anyone who looks. I have a terrible feeling another group will be non-trans gooners (which is maybe half of all gooners) who will try to wreck havoc. Those will groom more fringe young people while a conservative religious group that will gradually grow to be another moral guardian will become a bigger group that will attract more normal vunerable people. The new conservative group will be attractive because mom and dad were failure/uncool libtards. The group will also say they wil fix the loneliness and lack of structure/purpose in people's lives and proceed to fuck it up like cults tend to do. Again, troonism is a cult, there will be people accidentally or purposely preying on the same type of people to build their own idea & movement.

There likely will be a left leaning cult replacement but I can't think of it. The closest is the fake Disassociativd Identity Disorders as others said, but they can be dunked on by filming and evidence more easily. We'll see what happens.

TL;DR: new generation of vunerable people will fall prey to a new cult coming from right/conservative ideals because libs/democrats failed them or are their uncool parents. There will always be assholes and attention whores on both sides, but the majority will have a bigger share because numbers. I think the whole trans "thing" is setting the stage for the transhumanist movement, which I believe is less than 30 years away. TPTB will find a way to "translate your mind into digital code" and will rush into it. It'll be a trend and status symbol with negative consequences, both short and long-term, of which we won't be able to conceive (even by the 2050's). Hard disagree. Trooning is a cognitive virus that spreads from person to person, each individual troon programmed to seek out vulnerable individuals to groom. It's a social contagion.

It can only find fertile ground if acceptance of it is enforced from the top. Acceptance in this case also includes treating troons like a protected minority group against whom no pushback is allowed, thus giving them a chance to infiltrate communities unopposed.

I don't really disagree with your post aside from this: many of these people who are trans are bandwagon crazies. When the trans bandwagon stops, they'll jump on to the next crazy wagon that accepts crazies like them. It might not get as big as trans is/was, but there will still be a substantial movement of the non-grooming victim type, and the non dead type. Ex-cult members can fall into another cult just as easy. It's hard to predict what will rise in its place, but this is just for fun and to deep thought.

If you categorize troons by the level of commitment to the bit you have the ironic "femboys", unironic cross dressers, public troons and the axe wound brigade. It's pretty clear that in addition to the literal molesterers, there are also a bunch of fetishists (and their subversive enablers) who may not actually want to bang kids but are more than happy to use them to push the ideology.
