I don't think furries, plural systems and other retards will be the next group of crazies who will try to dictate over people's lives on the same level as trannies.

Gender ideology lunacy is a special case, it is/was backed up by the powerful organizations and the government because they noticed this shit was going to make bank and give them power/easy votes.

Furries are not a good investment as shown in the case of fursodas vs bluefolf, DID pretenders are only being taken seriously by their fellow fakers and that's not even mentioning that many of these people are already trannies.

Based on my observations from when I used to read the SRS/GRS thread a lot of money must be at play to allow such hypothetical fad to reach the same level as the tranny shit. It was almost perfect for grifters in medical, political and corporate fields and they exploited this artificial phenomenon as much as they could.

I personally believe it could be:

-People taking advantage of the still ongoing mental health crisis and the vulnerable minds of the unwell.
-Some sort of right wing group, hopefully it wont be the groypers or any spiritual successor of these morons.
-Silicon valley and tech groups/corporations who are going to try to control others through the same technology we use on our everyday life.
-Religious nutjobs, probably the least likely option but still possible.
-Transhumanists, even less likely imo because its mostly just retarded gay fantasies.

But as of now we still have some years of troon whining until this entire thing finally fades to obscurity.

In the early to mid 2010's the trans thing was mostly mocked, but it was treated as a phase. I think most people saw it as a phase. The bungender nonbinary girl probably wasn't going to go on hormones, and even if bun wanted to, bun's parents wouldn't let bun. And tumblr was predominantly women, and while there were some male users, it didn't really affect the userbase to the extent it would with other sites. If there was a heckin valid transfem, he might plaster anime girls everywhere, but overall have his agp be a bit more coy and he wouldn't break out into fishnets and programmer socks, and overall act more similarly to the afabs.

But instead of dying out with Tumblr, it spread into different sites and into the real world. The bungender is treated as a heckin valid by bun's school, by the media, by psychologists and bun's therapist, and bun has a lot more social pressure on her. (I'm sorry I can't even do the neopronoun thing ironically anymore, I can't believe anyone thought this was a good idea.) If she starts to have doubts about identifying as an attack helicopter, it's no longer people in her online hugbox that are going to try to re-validate her, it's going to be therapists and counselors. If the bungender ever expresses anything beyond doubts, she's going to deal with a lot of hatred towards her, for not validating trans people, despite the fact that she believed she was a valid trans beforehand. And this might sound easy to get over except the fact that maybe she started having these ideas of being trans when she was 12, or maybe even earlier, and maybe it was put by someone else she trusted like a parent or counselor, and her mind is still developing, and she won't be able to deal with why someone with much authority over her starts hating her.

Some of the original people in the tumblr clique still have lived on believing the trans stuff, but many have also detransitioned and become terfs they used to vent about. For a lot of detransitioners that I've talked to, they almost all medically transitioned before 20, and they've previously had to form their life around it. I learned the the line between "tucute" and "truscum" was much thinner than it seemed to me before, because these people were basically getting the same propaganda, the same motivations. You were born this way, you can't change it, if you don't change you'll be miserable, no cis person was ever mistaken to be trans. And then because they spent so much of their identity around it, not even just "gender identity" or other labels or whatnot, but actual identity that was formed during their developing years, they have trouble adjusting "normally" and join whatever other group starts lovebombing them. Sometimes they grew up in a cult, so they had no idea of what normal was in the first place.

I think if there's actual trans pushback, it'll start pushing back against all the other microlabels as well. Maybe things will start getting more right wing, maybe we'll see previous fringe right groups want to get limelight in mainstream culture like the tumblr thing did. Or maybe it'll fizzle out, there will be a new "neo-trans" to replace the old, like furries, and trans ideology will still exist but be way less relevant.

How the Trans Genocide is going to go over the next four years: Trans people are told 'no' on several subjects. No, you can't go into women's sports, no you can't go into women's locker rooms, no you won't be put into women's prisons. (Hopefully the last one will come with specific facilities for trans prisoners, since I'm going to take the bold-yet-controversial stance that rape is bad and a corrections system shouldn't facilitate it.) And most importantly, no you can't sell gendershit to children. Cue the wailing and gnashing of teeth on Discord, Reddit and Bluesky, where trannies will cry about being herded off into camps even as they vote for whoever the Democrats run in 2028.

The next big retarded social issue: I agree with the people that it might well come from the right, since the backlash toward trans people makes it far less likely that the general public is going to put up with anything adjacent to that (like furries and 'systems') for some time. Some sort of cult that takes a lot of cues from various fundamentalist strains of different religions, perhaps. While 'poly' relationships are more associated with the left, I can see polygamy making its way into more mainstream circles, especially with leftist tolerance of Muslims and right-wing tolerance for hardcore religion.
