My mother ate frozen hot dogs when she was pregnant with me.

With my first, I craved pineapple. All the time. I also could not stand the smell of Chinese food. I love the stuff, but for some reason, while I was pregnant, it made me feel nauseated. Couldn't even be in the same room with someone who was eating it. With my second, I craved meat (and I'm a vegetarian).

During my wife's pregnancy the daytime general shopping run to keep her "happy" was:

Popcorn (multiple flavors)
Pickles
"The chocolatiest chocolate Ice cream available"
Mac 'n' Cheese
Frozen fried rice and dumplings
At least 2 different boxes of chocolates
Peppermint tea
Honey

The "It's 3am and I demand this shit RIGHT NOW" 7-11 run was

Soda
Salt and vinegar chips
The weird little pickle snack packs with different flavors
York peppermint patties

And a prayer that you got to sleep for the rest of that night without her crying all over you.

My mom said she always wanted an authentic sabbaret hot dog from the carts or pickles when she was pregnant with me. She thought her eating them so much meant I would end up hating them but frankly I think hot dogs are ok and pickles are alright but Im not hungry for them all time either

Heavily pregnant wife sent me to the 24 hour Tesco at 2AM once for a microwave Vindaloo, a box of chocolate pop tarts and a tub of raspberry ripple ice cream which, when I returned at around 3.30 she proceeded to eat for an early breakfast, alternatively scooping mouthfuls of viciously hot curry and ice cream into her mouth using broken pop tart chunks as hells own Nachos. She cried the entire time and kept telling me she wouldn't hate me for leaving her at that moment.
