Keep two accounts for each website is a good idea in general, depending on what website it is. Occasionally delete an account and rotate to a new one if you don't just rotate usernames. If you're on Discord you should occasionally purge all your messages

Britbong is actively attempting to take down Kiwifarms and has doxxed about 20+ Kiwifarms users in the span of 4 years.

Not particularly harder. How many students are using VPNs? They'd have just knocked on their doors.

Just using not Harvard's wi-fi would have meant their search comes up completely empty and they have to increase the dragnet... what are they going to do next, get all of the logs from all of the ISPs in the region and identify every person who was using Tor? No doubt they could get those logs, given enough time, but that's a vastly larger pool of suspects and that gives more plausible deniability.
 
How long does KiwiFarms retain IP data? The policy is to record as little data as possible, but how long is it recorded for until it is deleted?
 
I always wonder what's the worse that can hapoen if i'm doxed i'm a literal nobody. I'd get it if i were some eceleb but would someone gain anything from it when you don't really have a platform to have a funny meltdown on. I'm legit curious why the secrecy? Ofcourse i'm not saying post under your real name but al this effort why is it neccesary?

Even a nobody could lose their job/school place/clientele if enough woke fuckwits spam their employer etc about their “problematic” online activity. You’re only truly safe if you’re retired, self-funded, and don’t care if friends and family find out you like to laugh at retards online. Also if you haven’t said anything that is a criminal offence, or something you can be sued for (Eg. “Hate speech” or defamation) in the country you live in. So it is best to be a bit wary.
