I think this is less of a "You" issue and more of a "If i power level about things I like too much some autistic sperg might be able to cross reference things to reveal more about my power level."

It's very normal to want the approval of the community. Humans are hard-wired for it. Also people are probably protesting having a point of view (stickers don't matter) forced onto them.

Well that's exactly the issue. Having it out in the open removes that fake sense of safety and prevents drama (hopefully) when your internet "friends" eventually turn on you because you both like the same e-girl.
