Well reaction score was a good metric at least in my mind, whether or not the user had over all quality posts. Though to be honest though, we can still see thread highlights, and also see the individual posts with the most positive reception. So that is also a good indicator in itself. Also, the eliminating notifications thing also might get to the root to the mass spam bullshit that was going on apparently. I also found the negative reaction score to be a good indicator of who was trying to sock their own thread. But, I do like how watched threads were moved up, and there is some more accessibility to other threads on the site. So that was an improvement in my eyes.

I always found certain reactions helped me navigate/pickup where I left off in some threads.
I guess will have to use the watched threads, which isn't fun on mobile.
Some of the gimmick accounts will be mad they can't just react and not interact

People still have sticker notifications on? I turned those off immediately after my inbox kept getting spammed by reactions for my posts in the Kyle Rittenhouse thread.

Literally who cares about stickers? All they do Is display the opinion that users of that particular thread have of your post. Precisely the same post can receive totally different sticker ratios if posted in different threads. I particularly don't understand why you'd care how an user you dislike rates your posts.

It's a discussion forum. This is not an issue. There's multiple off-topic boards and I'd like to see those grow so the site has some stability and activity even if we're in a slump content wise.

Edit: I think that if people feel they can't talk conversationally on the main off-topic boards, I'm doing something really wrong and I'd like to see how it can be loosened up.

People who post in drama parts and take what you say seriously don't post there for that reason.
