ProjectMoon Megathread - Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina, Limbus Company, etc.

I don't think so, because if Dante isn't Ayin I want some good explanation why is another person.
0 Chance Mirror universe Dante is an antagonist.
I'm pretty sure I was right all the way back in S2, except there is alot more foreshadowing to back it up now than just intuition.

Dante is Young Ji, Yi Sang's mentor who randomly left the league of meme

Young ji invented the basis for the mirror world technology to find his waifu who was concept killed like Catherine

From the wiki "It appears to Dongbaek that Young-ji didn’t purely intend this invention to be a mere plaything for amusement, concerned if he was still fixated on an unspecified loss he suffered in the past being the motivation behind creating the glass window."

Meta gaming but in The Divine Comedy, Dante is searching for his wife Beatrice, Beatrice is confirmed to exist in the Chapter 6 ending when Damien confronts Dante about his lost waifu. Dante comes to the conclusion he doesn't care about alternate reality Beatrice, he wants his specifically. Which ties into why Young ji essentially abandoned his mirror window.
I'm pretty sure I'm right.

IMO there's no person that had "influence" in the city and could have the information that the schizo episode on the Intervalo for Tier III (WAW) Peccatula gave and lobocorp memory in the mansion.
Dante is getting his schizo truthnukes from the collective unconscious aka the River.

I'm pretty sure I'm right.
Ok let's say you are right. Dante is
Young ji.

How you would explain the X memories showed in the mansion.
Or how he got the influence to be called bigwig by Vergilius in Canto III after the Sigmund.
Going more meta why there's a focus on the smoke war by the two sinners (Gregor and Outis). An war that Ayin caused to create lobocorp.

And about league of nine, they are competent. But the time-frame of this history, I can't see rise and fall for any member to be called big wig by the standard of an color.

Isn't explained that the River is difficult to handle. That's why the things you get normally is distorted like abnormalities.
So I can't see an memory from another person gotten so clean. If was more blur and/or with more effects I could buy it.

He didn't, he was seeing/hearing Carmen's influence on Heathcliff as he was distorting.
PM was just recycling old art.
I can prove this since a Ruina Carmen cutscene slide is also shown.

Young Ji is a big deal, Yi sang say's on a whole different level compared to himself. Young Ji was being recruited by multiple wings and he leaves the league of meme well before it collapses and the collapse was 10+ years from current year and well before the White nights and Dark days.

It goes without saying that Young Ji's mirror universe window technology is the foundation for how the ring, N corp, and fausts ID technology work.

Also Young ji didn't Crash out, yi sang just doesn't know what happened to him. But in chapter 5 the blue distortion guy says Young ji is ok and still alive.

This doesn't mean anything, it's a significant event that happened in the city that was barely talked about in ruina, Ji Hoon just wanted to expand on it (even though the smoke war is barely covered so far lol)
my schizo theory

Couldn't Donte theoretically be manager X? With Ayins memories and face, he could easily get enough influence in the City to start up LC.
If you'll allow my schizophrenia, it might also explain how he has the power to rewind sinners back to life. It might be an EGO remnant from his time in Lobcorb.
Plus, y'know, there was that whole Chesed moment recently.

Good point, but why this is the only reference to direct reference to Lobocorp main story?
If Carmen have that hang up it would manifest more than up thread story than the brief mention in the Lobcorp ID.
The only other character that still have problem with lobocorp and how it got is Ayin.

I didn't say that Young Ji isn't a big deal. Because his technology is shaping the plot and background.
But seems to me that the timeline don't him to be congruent to a big wig (by a color & Vergilus the corporation lover that he is, in my opinion just head of the wings or near level could be called that) in the history that have ascended and fell/gamble to get an prosthetic head in time.
If I am going to bet he is behind the blue team with Demien as co-leader. And I wouldn't be surprised that he is one that created Faust or something in that line.

I strongly disagree that smoke war doesn't mean anything in the story, in the series it always was in the background explict.
In the lobocorp with ordeals that represent war (green the worst) and explanation that was the pillar to replace the L wing.
In ruina that have various pages dedicate to show part of the war ( if I remember correcly the R squad) and have an ego fight for background to Roland(and for his background). In a game that is dedicate to Angela's dady issues.
And now for Limbus the Canto I deals with the trauma in the soliders that fought the war. Or how that scene after the don came back to the bus, that Outis almost admit to commit atrocities in the war and imples this will be one themes in her Canto.
Or now the last part of this Canto where the Gregor and Outis are the ones leading the discursion because the decision could cause the an "wing war". Almost implying some felings about their past.

I can see that we are remaking the tree. But I disagree with the rest like sinners being part the tree or Beatrice isn't being the Carmen.

For me Ayin and manager X is the same person post lobcorp game.

No, first off the time machine from L corp isn't an ego, it's a singularity that L corp bought from a failing company (the time machine requires too much energy to be viable, which is why L corp hq had aleph abnormalities to power it.)

The chesed moment is just Dante extending his Qliphoth field. It's implied that the main purpose of the golden bough are to power Qliphoth fields in the L corp branches.

I'll point out, Ayin and Carmen are fundamentally part of the light. They weren't collected and booked like everyone else in Ruina, they weren't left over like the abnormalities and employees. Angela doesn't change the nature of the light in Ruina, she just collects it and then decides to release it like it was meant to.

Clearly Carmen is still part of the light distorting people and interfering with uptie stories, so it doesn't make sense that Ayin would be ejected.

Apparently PM twt has decided Lei Heng, the winged tiger general of the Liangshan Marsh Rebels; canonical women respecter, is a rapist. And Ryoshus canto is going to be about sexual assault.

Just like Ish’s Canto being about buttsex, Heaths being about racism, and Hongs being about grooming; methinks this is some personal trauma poking through.
Nah it’s not the Asians, it’s literally just the English crowd
I'm tired, boss.

By the way, if anyone is still not done with 5-36, do not use R Corp Heathcliff until the next patch. For some reason the spaghetti code is having a problem with that unit and the stage-clear cutscene.

I forgot to ask, for the lore veterans here, are the elders connected to some of the abnormalities in Limbus Company? A lot of design went into them.

I ain't reading the books before cantos. My autism isn't in that level yet, so no veteran here.
But my guess the designs represent forms of immortality that an person can get in the setting. There's the obvious ones like being an bloodfiend, replace parts with machine or good old at the end of the life jew extend the time now using 1000x more infants blood.
Based on the design alone maybe the head in the jar is an immorality using the river because the resemble the Carmen's jar. But I really want to have some more interactions with the elders to see how the fuck use the river as immortality or why the tricks that the head accept.

There are a large amount of parallels between the creatures in the outskirts and abnormalities, obviously they aren’t the same, but given abnormalities origins in the unconscious conscious of humanity it’s not surprising that the bird that rips out of your womb manifested somewhere there and this seems to be a reoccurring theme design wise. See: Santata and Rudolfa.

The elders do not seem to be too beyond the scope of the cities technology, which is heavily suggested to have been yoinked from the outskirts (tears, whale oil, ect) anyway, which is especially notable given L corps origins there.

I believe the design intention to be very similar to Mr. House in new vegas; extremely unusual, incredibly complicated, and highly unpleasant. Not to be recreated by normal people. It possible that the source of the bloodbag abno and the source of the blood bags feeding into her are the same, but they are unlikely to be linked in a linear fashion (such as that abno in the back making the blood bags)

Now that I think about the hospital nurse abnormality, Nymph, does have a passing resemblance to the Wheelchair elder, distant yet with enough similarities that one could potentially be based on another

A bit aside from that, I didn't see it mentioned here, but I want to point out that Gubo and Jia Huan's E.G.O gear match their roles from The Inferno. Gubo, Jia Huan, and Hermann each represent the three faces of Satan: ignorance, hatred, and impotence repectively, each face matching their eye color (black, red, and yellow). Their E.G.O gear match these qualities: Der Fluchschutze has to maintain ignorance of his pendant, else his fell bullet will strike himself, while Spiral of Contempt embodies pure scorn. I half expected Hermann to show up with Thoracalgia or steam machine's E.G.O, but I appreciated the theme nonetheless.
