ProjectMoon Megathread - Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina, Limbus Company, etc.

I did the event boss in MDH and forgot to sell the white gossypium before going into the fight and it was pure misery. What would easily be a two turn fight turned into spamming anything that could inflict paralyze since otherwise you're dealing with around 20+ clash bonus every attack, and the heal on hit every turn. Even with that it was still pretty luck reliant. I was running Bleed+Poise with bloody mist and lucky pouch and everything was as cakewalk until then so it completely slipped my mind to check my gifts before going in.
Aren't you missing a lot of WARP tokens from not using the W Corp team? I've done it with Deer Ish and it was pretty nostalgic having her PK her team members. Charge is more varied than Poise but having shit luck means you can be stuck waiting for the nuking moves.

Looking to get into modded Ruina, any good suggestions for modded receptions? I heard Cold Sun added a lot of content but apparently has bad difficulty problems and the project being an outlet for the developers femboy fetish so I'm still on the fence about it.

You just need them on the team, not deployed for the fight. Had W Ryoshu, Outis, Hong benched and had all 3 dimension shredders. Not feeling burning 130+ blue exp tickets to catch some characters up.

I could understand it because I feel like it took me twice as long with Warp Crew. They feel like they need at least one turn to even roll properly but most of them don't have any charge giving EGO, so you just hope to get easy enemy skills so that your characters can generate charge with normal skills.

The new charge team tools fuck pretty hard, I used to skip using my charge team for daily MD runs because it had too much overlap with my rupture team and because it felt really weak and dangerous with all the suicidal units, but these newer units really pump themselves and everyone else right up and makes clearing encounters a breeze.

Dice Roll fix, Attribution Filter Fix, Better Filters, Defense Retain Fix, 'On Play' page Fix, NoGrind, Map Optimizations: Yesod, All Battle Symbols, and Reverse Library.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

If you want a shitpost mod with a some good schizo fights then try the Turbulence office mod. If you want to experience the game again then try the Rougelike mod or the more difficult LoR mod (I think that's what it was called). There is a PvP mod, but I haven't checked the development on that one in a while, so I'll assume it's either dead or finished. I remember enjoying the custom receptions of EGO Walter and the pianist.

Edit: Btw there is a post on the steam forums for the game that tells you how to fix the error of textures not loading on modded receptions with notepad.

There’s a new game plus mod that goes up to love town (which is a doozie) and is sort of a victory lap, everything becomes sort of viable so it’s a lot of beatsticking but it’s pretty nice whipping out the Rats again.

That Walter fight made me feel like I was on the receiving end of blockma. Found a mod for EGO Yujin and distorted Xiao and those were great too. These modded fights definitely give me a newfound appreciation for Keter, Wrist Cutter especially has been getting a lot of use with these power stacking fuckers and I've been getting great mileage out of Lies on Yan for free Baleful Brands.

Second try of Charge team, replaced Deer Ish with Crack Heath and topped some levels, it was way easier even if I couldn't get the ultimate fusion gift until the final boss. Most important thing is to have Don and Ryoshu get a second third tier skill so they can use it reliably to nuke. Though even then Crack Faust still is harder hitting on average because the other two has pretty underwhelming skill 1.

Must be fun having Crack Faust and Grip Faust together in that Grallthing.

I've been doing some MDH solo runs and I'm torn on the appeal of them, on one hand its fun to test what IDs are capable of but on the other a lot of it does come down to having specific sets of IDs for passives, EGO gifts for health/resources, picking the optimal floors/nodes and resetting a lot. Human fights are the worst because you're character defaults to the slowest speed enemy so you're either tanking 1-4 hits or resetting and if the character doesn't have dodge or get a decent amount of shield its purely luck. So far I've done R Faust, M Don, T Don, D Rodya and D Hong but they seem to be by far the easiest.
