There’s several problems with the claim that professionals are “pro ship”, aside from the fact that the poster in question doesn’t provide any source for their outlandish claim.

It’s one thing if a piece of media depicts grooming, incest and pedophilia while portraying it in a negative light by depicting the damage it does to the victims, which can be helpful for real life victims to feel as though they’re not alone. It can be, dare I say, validating for victims to know that they’re not “tainted” just because they were diddled by their uncle in their childhood/teen years.

It’s when it’s portrayed through a positive or fetishistic lens that it becomes a problem for survivors, and becomes a maladaptive form of “coping”.

When information was first coming out about the series, there was no mention who their mother was, leading a lot of people to think that it was going to be Rin and ultimately about halfway into the anime it was confirmed that she was the twin's mom.

If anyone better versed on Inuyasha wants to correct me on anything I got wrong or add anything on they can because I haven't seen this shit in nearly a decade and a lot of it is second-hand knowledge from a friend of mine who did watch the sequel until he dropped it.
