this is really want this comes down to, when so many people come forward asserting their is definite proof of this stuff, when it is clearly speculation and circumstance, with literally zero concrete proof.

I think that's why a lot of this comes off as weird, these people believed they had very concrete evidence and screenshots of Pyro being specifically A pedophile Groomer furry. and the only thing they really proved was he was a degenerate furry and forgot to include any actual proof of grooming and pedophilia so you just end up looking desperate in a situation easily rationalized as "Furry degenerate RPs with Furry Degenerate. " it's just not a very good argument or position to make, especially against someone of reasonable popularity like pyrocynical.

The problem with youtube "cancel culture" is that let's say pyro was proved to be a groomer, then he would just disappear for a few months and come back and everyone would forget

The only 2 YouTubers that got "canceled" and had their channels deleted for similar allegations, LionMaker, and Zaptie, and Zaptie was due to false allegations against him and he had a mental breakdown and deleted the channel himself

Most Youtuber cancellations go nowhere, even with serious shit like Mini Ladd where he outright admitted to it, he just brushed it off and people stopped caring, Pyro will regain his lost subs, same with Turkey Tom.

The problem is that most people just forget, they eat up the recent drama, sperg out about it for a few days/weeks, then forget with no real punishment given. at most I see this as funny due to pyro's weird degenerate fetishes coming to light.

To me even if Turkey Tom was right, Pryo would still probably gotten away due to how apathetic viewers are to this shit, I remember when everyone cried for Mini Ladd to lose his channel and be banned, only for commentary channels to quit talking about it (probably because they couldn't get ad money anymore on the topic), and thus people stopped caring, it's depressing in some cases but that's how this website's culture works.

Some of this info is a bit misleading or simply incorrect.

For one, Lionmaker’s channel was never deleted when the accusations were thrown at him. It was removed from the platform by YouTube themselves a few months ago, as the guy had returned from jail to angrily respond to his critics. So I really wouldn’t equate that to cancel culture, given the guy’s clear criminality in relation to minors.

Zaptie also shouldn’t be regarded as some sort of exception to how “cancel culture doesn’t work.” Arguably, he’s a prime example of somebody who fell victim to it and nearly killed himself as a result. Beyond him, you could point to some other channels like Tobuscus and Shane Dawson, with both having taken massive blows to their reputations and have not uploaded any new videos in months.

Channels that called out creators like MiniLadd didn’t stop making videos on him simply because it’s unprofitable, or because they have short attention spans: If anything, you could easily say that they’re milking the subject had they continued to keep making video after video after video, despite there being not much more to add nor say on the matter (guys like Chris Hansen and Prison Mate Luke are incredibly guilty of doing this type of shit).

Afaik, I haven’t seen nor heard anyone proclaim that they want Pyro deplatformed. Most of this has been an effort to set the story straight and figure out if Pyro’s actually malicious or is merely a complete idiot, though it seems like the current consensus is pointing toward the latter.

I keep seeing comments stating that “they didn’t plan on meeting up so it’s not grooming”. According to the NSPCC, grooming does not require a plan for meeting up. I’m not going to say whether or not it was intentional, or that it was definitively grooming, but I think this is worth noting.
I’m by no means an expert, but here’s the page on grooming from the ABA that includes sending explicit images as a form of grooming.
What I do know for sure is that sexually roleplaying with a minor is illegal, even if CSEM isn’t shared. So even if Pyro isn’t guilty of grooming, he’s guilty of that.
