His latest video features a truly exceptionnal part starting at the 9 minutes mark in which he explains how, to roughly paraphrase "a Nickleodeon show broadcast on Saturday morning showed that there are hormones that make you a girl and that it's a good thing".

He fails to realize that the visceral horror you were supposed to feel about it is the correct response.

Quinton truly has become Erik's very own Vee minus the waifu. What a timeline.

The funny part about Mr. Meaty is that it’s puppet-like, absurdist humor was the reason fast food never got served correctly. It was meant to be a ridiculous version of Good Burger minus the good burgers, but Quinton had to destroy the meta narrative that the show presented on Nick just to add “TRANS RIGHTS” to a show that most zoomers under the age of 17 will never hear of.

This is garbage.

Typical Quinton Bullshit. Rushed, under-researched, over-stretched, whiny. He should have made the entire video about Spongebob specials IMO. I was a Teenage Gary is such a bizarre, horrid thing to watch, such a key installment in the Spongebob body horror tradition, and he just scated past it to talk about some Twitter conspiracy theory.
Maybe instead of simpering and going 'uwu pwease get me to 400k' and jealousy wanking to Big Joel, he should actually think about why no one is watching his content.

> He just admits is going to be rushed in the first two minutes just to set expectations.
> He is negotating making an ICarly video if he gets to 400k before 2021, which is fucking epic considering he kinda already did it because he dedicated a quarter of his Fallen Titans on comedy to fucking ICarly.
> I sincerely dont get why he wanted to make this video. He just summarizes the specials. This video is supposed to be a quick, short video and is only 4 minutes shorter than Mr. Meaty.
> The "body horror was inside him along" did get me to chuckle, I will give him that.
> Quinton Tangents at it again. Is funny when he already being in a tangent about how people remember SpongeBob moments differently then says "to get in a quick tangent". This whole regal moment lasts for a minute and even though I have the playback velocity in 2 it felt eternal.
> Over half of the video is just about SpongeBob. If anything it would have been better if Q decided to make a video about his thoughs on SpongeBob Halloween specials for how disconnected it feels. I feel like he could just have bought a couple of DVDs and review them and it would have made more sense that whatever this is.
> He talks about The Boy That Cried Werewolf and doesnt mention the funniest part of the movie: it ends with the main cast singing Baby, Hit Me One More Time that itself is a gag in the movie. Then he sorta of glances over Crybaby Lane. I feel like he could have talked about either Nicktoons specials or Live Action specials or at to make a more cohesive selection. I was surprised he didnt bother with FOP specials or even Big Time Rushs special considering the latter was released the same year as The Boy That Cried Werewolf.
> He even makes a point about episodes that while not been Halloween themed are very spooky, he could have done that with stuff like the flea episodes of CatDog and SpongeBob (which btw still make me irk), the little brother episode of Rugrats, all of Danny Phantom or the aforementioned body horror episodes in FOP. If he wanted to go very underground he could have reviewed stuff that while not being Nickelodeon exclusive was spooky themed or at least had spooky vibes like Angela Anaconda, Growing Up Creepie, Edgar & Ellen, Frankensteins Cat, Ruby Gloom or even Jimmy Two-Shoes which was aired on Nick in some territories. I did grew up on reruns of some of these shows so I know Q has seen them or at least is semi aware of them.

Why did he had other nick Halloween specials like that one with the Jiang Shi which is a vampire zombie and it’s much much cooler and it was featured in Legends of Awesomeness

I grew up on those shows, too. There's Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy too- they had several Halloween specials, but basically every episode was creepy or weird in some way. I think there would be a genuinely good video idea in discussing the creepy trends that dominated kids' programming of the early 00s, but that would require a bit more depth than just summarising episodes and saying 'this is spooky'.

If he knows the video is going to be rushed then why release it in the first place. He should have waited to see how Mr Meaty did and then modified the halloween video based on the criticism. I get that he wanted it out before Halloween, but then if that was the case he should have left Mr Meaty until later and spent more time on the Halloween episode. His incompetence continues to inspire and baffle me.

The garf-bragging was pretty funny, though.

He should done a video on billy and Mandy there is a lot of horror in that plus they did a Christmas special too
Do you think a show like that could be made today?

Quinton has found himself in a very awkward position. He doesn't have the skill to make videos that are entertaining, and he doesn't have the insight to make videos that are political. Ultimately, every time he makes a video he has to decide whether he's going to make a video that is pointless, like his older content or the Nickelodeon video which are basically just imdb summaries of movies no one gives a shit about, or embarrassing, like the fallen titans series, where he ruins an interesting premise with his uneven scripting, rambling tangents, and bizarre political positions. I think that Quinton isn't self-aware enough to quit making content, but he IS self-aware enough to recognize that the content he produces isn't very good, so he has to actively curb his own enthusiasm to prevent himself from making anything too ambitious, lest he make a complete mockery of himself. I can't imagine how crushing it must be for a content creator to realize that the more he wants to accomplish, the worse his content will become. I can only assume that every time he actually sits down to work, he experiences extreme cognitive dissonance. Quinton's newest videos are soulless enough that he simply can't have enjoyed making them. The Nickelodeon and Mr. Meaty videos don't have any analysis, they're just "here is a wacky thing, now please give me money and internet points because I told you about this wacky thing." Quinton doesn't "review;" remove Quinton from the video and it's basically exactly the same. I think that Quinton is smart enough to understand this, but he knows that if he tries any harder he'll just fuck it up. Quinton's called himself cursed before, and I agree. There is absolutely no way forward which is desirable for Quinton. I simply argue that the curse isn't an outside force, but a result of his own incompetence.

I don't think they would make Billy and Mandy today, no. It's too raunchy, too anarchic, too morally grey. The only thing I ever learned from that show was not to put chocolate in my pockets.

Cramp Twins always gave me a weird uncomfortable feeling. 00s shows all have that odd creepiness about them, even the ones that aren't overtly gross. They always seemed to play with body horror and existential dread to an unnerving degree.

The late 90s to the early 2010s tv shows And to an extent movies were good Or amazing with some misses
Don’t get me wrong there are still some good stuff in the late 2010’s and now are good but it’s only limited
But let’s Not derail thread

Nah billy and mandy is too popular for him to give a half assed attempt or an overly political interpretation of it without people calling him on it.
