I had it on in the background because I couldn't stand to see a single second of the melting rotten cheesehead of a face Quinton has, and I was waiting for how long it was gonna take for the forced political joke. Was happy to know it was like about 3 min in (after his 1-2 minute Raycon ad shill of course).
His video itself was exactly what any other person in the cartoon medium would discuss but just shittier because Quinton. Lol at him having to use a camera pointed at his tv to record segments for some of the videos due to the content being blocked.
Pan-Pizza's video on CN Real was a much better take on it and that video is like 3 years old now.
I've more so just come to the fact that no matter what video Quinton will do now, there will be some forced political joke, or stupid fucking political take being forced into it even if he has to shoehorn it in.

Ok, I was going to try to watch and give a proper review (pun intended) of the latest video but I not only got convinced early of how futile it was not only for how exhausted I am but also because the seasonal spike of YouTube activity would only further push Qooper further to his goals. What convinced me too was that it was useless to try to dig deeper on the shitfest.
As you know, I have a little of insight on most of the stuff that has been getting released as of late and if there was a time for Q to get political it was this video. You might have missed it for how, in pure quintonian fashion, he barely touches the surface of what he is intending to talk about. For those of you that might not know or remember, Cartoon Network got caught on both poor management and the spike of reality TV for CN Real to be created. The segment was the brainchild of Stuart Snyder, the third president of the CN who got in after his predecessor, Jim Samples, had to resign in large part due to the ATHF movie's promotion incident. This segment is fondly remembered by nobody and is used as a footnote on the Writer's Strike of 2007-2008, which in case you watched TV at all during those years might remember as an age of pure decay with expensive shows ending in favor of gimmicks. Snyder's tenure is easily the most questionable of the four (technically five) presidents of CN for how much talent (McKraken, Atoms) and money was lost, even though the Cartoon Renaissance of the 2010s can be attributed to the survivors of Man of Action, Chowder and Flapjack. Hell, one of Snyder's ideas was a boot camp show about teens going commando.
The strikes are often considered to be one of most important things to ever happen in the history of western animation to not say TV, even tho animators as always ended getting cucked. And even though the current standards aren't perfect they are a far cry from the situation over a decade ago. For those of you who might not know (because who cares tbh) people in animation weren't required or nearly as pushed to join a union back then which meant that the only show no affected was South Park, that if you don't know takes a bit over a week to be animated. This spergery isn't even the biggest of my problems really. Q is tryharding to sound like he is on crack cocaine while making references to how depressed he is, which adding the off color political inconsistencies and tangents into nothing but zoomer nostalgia gives me second hand embarrasment. Is like he is simultaneously trying to be Big Joel and 24 Frames of Nick, which in case you don't know already is a contradiction into itself. The guy is his own worst enemy, he can't take himself seriously but he expects others to do so and his Discord helps him keep the illusion that he can be anyone else but himself. His reviewing style is legit just point and laugh at something. He is the male equivalent of Allison Pregler.
So I am going to come forward and ask: what does it take for him to be happy? Biden won, he is 5k away from 400k and is getting decent views, he makes at least a $700 on Patreon bucks. How he can still be miserable if almost everything he wanted is lying up? I believe his claims on depression but his nastiness online just makes me feel like he is always looking for an excuse to be sad. He still mentions the 2018 drama and thinks that the trolls are going to welcome him with open arms if he becomes a chud, he only responds to fan feedback openly when is questions to his character very aggresively (with his most diehard fans joining in) and I am pretty sure he reported my Twitter account for an interaction we had two months ago. Fucker is the embodiment of pettiness.
So to cap this off I would like to present you something that I found pretty amusing because this guy is either a troll or a fucking schizo. (A)

Nothing but a good hard look at himself and coming to the realization that he has to drastically change the way he views and operates his life. He is depressed, but like most depressive cases its not the world that's causing the pain and agony, but the individual's reaction to the world.
There are plenty of people in worse situations who are far happier than middle class fags like Quinton. They approach the various bumps in life with grit and a positive outlook built up through dealing with it for their whole lives. People who have never really had to struggle or fight to survive like Quinton, fold at the slightest hurdle thrown at them because they have not learned to deal with these hurdles early on. Its why there are so many western 20 and now 30 somethings who are complete and utter train wrecks despite living better than 90% of the planets population.

I think it alot because his videos are not very good both from a writing and technical standpoint. A majority of his recent videos are a weird mixture of old Channel Awesome review and informative video essay.
He does not have the writing ability to be fully witty so he leans on beinging more serious and trying be informative while sprikinling in jokes.His informative aspects never go anywhere beyond the surface level and are just a jumping off point for a political tangent. As Blue Muslim pointed out CN real was not only caused by the writers strike but a lot of other things going wrong at the time. Hell he never even mentioned how Andrew W.K had a history with Cartoon Network at the time by beining in a few adult swim shows.

Somethings that I completely missed about my subboting theory is how YouTube has been updated and operates now.
1. The site now works with tags (they are at the top) which means that you are getting exposed more than ever to channels related to your browsing history.
2. Sometimes you will get a poll about recommended videos and that affects visibility. The quintonians and quintonettes likely are weaponizing this to compensate the two years of darkness.
3. There is a spike of activity from Halloween all the way to New Year's Eve that can benefit you if you know how to use it for your own gain. The proven method is uploading constantly longer videos, which only require to be seen (or jumpskipped) halfway thru to count in your viewcount. That's the reason that Q always tries to drop dozens of videos on December and he has Knockoff November and Halloween Specials. However you need to mind the sinking of January and Febraury, which Q seems to want to use for vacation purposes.
Quinton has found the sweet spot that people like Scott the Woz have of not being so obnoxious about your politics which is sorta helping the newcomers to be blind about the last two years. Some of his fans even think he should be more aggresive but they are mental anyway.
His growth is still all over the place though. From 25k on two years to 14k on just two months. The upcoming SpongeBob Knockoffs with Salty Derek is guaranteed to make better even if Derek doesn't promote it just because of SpongeBob.
Thus I am left with the question: How will Quinton fumble this victory and just how much will it makes us laugh?

It has been a wild ride and these recommends are personal as all of them are great channels about several aspects of content production and I feel deserve way more attention. No video picks this time, as i want you all to go blindly into them and pick your own path.
Thomas Flight (248k): A great channel with editing breakdows and media essays that are criminally underrated as to what they offer. They are miniclasses on what to do and what not to do as an editor as well as a guide for normal movie goers as to what you should be looking for to identify kino.
QOVES Studio (172k): Severely underrated takedowns on photoshoped images and how to fix them. If you ever found yourself interested while Nerd City was explaining it on THOT Patrol this a great choice to understand how photo editors work while also seeing some terrific pieces on what beauty is throughout the world and how to improve your personal photos.
Tale Foundry (211k): Fiction discussion about the nature of horror themed works and its place on our psyque including some recent projects such as Junji Ito and SCP.
The Canipa Effect (100k): A fixture of anitube dedicated to highlighting the work of studios of animation in Asia, how its made and explaining common misconceptions audiences might have about it.
Joon The King (87.3k): Imagine a Down The Rabbit Hole in the making that mainly focuses on lolcows and only until its last upload has reached the threshold of an hour and a half with plenty of Runescape content in the mix.
The Sphere Hunter (295k): Video essays on videogames sponsored by computer gaming appareal that does not have the right to be as good as it is and hosted by a woman with one of the softest voices I have heard. Think Elvira doing retrospectives on survival horror and rpgs.
The Kino Corner (11.2k): Some of you might know him for his collabs with TGFM or Emp Lemon. A channel dedicated to analyze cinema in an accesible way with segments meant to homage the movies he talks about including segments encouraging the audience to give it a try at making thier own films.
Mikasacus (249k): Shitpost tier content that rivals that of Brendaniel in randomess but mainly centered around videogames.
Savantics (308k): Being that some can only point and laugh while reviewing, what about a change of pace with level-headed commentary from someone who does not need to act like a sperg to be funny? Give it a try, she at least tries to review things beyond irrelevant dead horses.
ManyKudos (46.8k): Another product of the strong coalition of Internet Historian, Whang! and The Right Opinion. Easily the closest to Q's style I have ever recommended but I will let you be the judge as to why he is better. Won't take you long.
doplex (15.5k): Similar to Kudos, a disciple of the greatest of senpais. Dry delivery, odd subjects and good production value.
SumitoMedia (63.5k): Mostly known by doing meme reviews and being Internet Historian's fetish, this handsome sonfoabitch goes the distance to go beyond just summarizing such a simple subject.
Ordinary Things (46.5k): This lad does cover a lot of the same bases of Quinton content wise. I am pretty much implying that IH found a better Q and if you want to see stupid shit done right you have alternatives.
Webcomic Relief (10k): Not a new sight to those that venture on the realms of bad webcomics. If you want self aware CA tier sperging about this niche, Riiser is your man.
Voxis Productions (81k): Extensive movie reviews done in character by a puppet that doesn't give a fuck about you and is on the EFAP sphere without engaging in it.
uricksaladbar (111k): Video essays on the value, accomplishments and fails of modern videogames with a simple yet nice artstyle and editing with some OneyPlays animations on the side.
Possum Reviews (153k): You want reviews of absolute bottom of the barrel movies? They usually are found on the trashcan where possums are including former Dr. Shyam.
Hooray Perfect (71.6k): Commentary videos with way too much honesty but not as many uploads.
colemancheu (22.4k): Mainly a meme based channel, it has produced very solid pieces of commentary with a good ethic and a Kiwi Farms account.
John Swan (152k): Good enough journalism on video commentary to warrant the attention of known career cows Chris Hansen, Suzy Lu and Deji.
readwithcindy (258k): Book reviews with some mild alcoholism and takedows of some of the worst YA fiction ever written without going into theatrics.
Accented Cinema (215k): Video essays on asian cinema and asian representation by a chinese national with a focus on themes and misconceptions around them. Has been accused of being Pro-China, Anti-China and both at the same time.

it’s funny cus I don’t think everyone was saying Q necessarily has to “respect” every opinion but maybe not saying people who disagree with him on this one pet topic literally aren’t human (the ben shapiro stuff) might be a good start in the effort to not look like an arrogant political commissar.

Trans experts I want to ask: Does any of you wonder why Quinton has such a hard on for using trans issues to justify all the early shit? Like everytime someone asks what happened back in 2018 he always makes sure to include being against transphobia, but I legit cannot remember when he actually did anything related to that early on.
