Is a weird thing to explain because despite having the receipts to prove he is a life long Garfield fan he only really started to show public interest in it a bit before this thread was made and despite what some would want you to believe he is not ironic about it. He has gone on record to explain that he is not being ironic and the fact that he can unironically be cataloged as a Garfield historian just has fueled him further.
Quinton has spent his life in niche fan communities and, believe it or not, Garfield is the biggest he has any claim on because Doctor Who is just too big of a tank.
What interests me more is why his parents like Robotech of all things and decided it was a good idea to name their kids after it, which Q also tried early on his career. Quinton truly seems like a product of intense and overbearing parenting to the point I am only willing to believe he is a coomie and an atheist because his parents groomed him to, thus making his """redpill""" years an act of rebellion.
In more interesting news, the Mini Quinton army is finally coming home to father, or at least is on its way.
According to @The Fifth Waltz, considering shipping expenses, Q paid $6824USD to save his own plushie campaign which automatically negates any kind of winning he can latch himself into for me.
Now time for two theories to get your heads around:
1) It was hbomberguy who groomed Q. They are mates on Facebook and Harris is the only notable breatuber that has given attention to him, which adds to how Q claimed that he and Kat Blaque marathoned his videos four months ago.
2) Quinton Reviews is being subboted. This is pure fucking speculation and libel on my part but it does seem suspicious how his channel has started to grow just this month taking in account he has not really seen more views. This are big words, but his viewcount has stayed as before this happened.
How did he earn 11k subs in three weeks without making 300k views even once since this summer?
Do not know what he is doing now but it seems is either working or something at least worth our attention is happening this month. Or maybe nothing too.

Quinton just confirmed his campaign basically was unsuccessful that they literally sent him all the unsold plushies that he didn't buy up to basically get rid of them.
You would think Quinton wouldn't pubically talk about it because this means for sponsers he isn't financially viable, but Quinton just couldn't help himself

Guys, we finally got what we have been sperging about for six months. Quincy Rants has finally (sort of) addressed the Quew Question.
I will take this a a win because in the case someone amongst the 400ish poor bastards that are receiving fucking nothing for giving him a dollar wants to lash out Quincy Rants finally has a defense for Team Patreon.
Allthough this is very minor shit I still thought that it would be worth bringing up for your entertainment.
Someone asked on Reddit what set up Quincy uses, to which he responded:
This as the resident audiovisual fag peaked my interest. His camera set up is pretty competent (guessing the lack of remarkable photography is because he almost exclusively works with the camcorder and considering how little footage he tends to use it seems a bit of an overkill with some notable youtubers using their cellphones to the extreme of their capabilities to produce much more interesting footage). Guessign the cameras are years long bday gifts because that's how I got my own camcorder.
The software also caught my attention because Quincy has claimed he has no problem with piracy and the thing is most people I know pirate Adobe. Granted, it has become harder and harder as years pass but paying for a suscription if you only use like 5 programs at best is just sinking money even if you are using the student's discount. For all my kiwis wanting to get into editing I would suggest DaVinci Resolve, it has a free version that has everything you could ask for and it is the standard in the film industry for color correction. There's Blender too, but even tho you can edit there it is way more valuable for animation. And there are lots of free editing software outhere that are worth the try considering how scummy Adobe is. Just a thunk.
He mentions Audacity but he doesn't mention audio. Guess is he is still recording with his cellphone or that pesky lavalier.
Then there is the real reason I wanted to post. Someone asked Quincy to make an Unfallen Titans on James Rolfe, to which Quincy responded:

What interests me more is why bother making a Rising Titans, which probably would be Quincy passively aggressively shilling Small Henry and Ms. Neanderthal. It has to be at least a bit soul crushing that after trying to kill the series, admitting you don't investigate at all and only being enjoyed by his own fans he still has to milk the franchise for all it's worth.

Editing the audio of twenty minute videos in Audacity sounded like insanity to me at first but realistically Q probably used like three tracks tops for most projects. One for his narration, one for the music and one for some stock sound effects. You could use Premiere as a better timeline for EQing and affecting audio if your project is ambitious enough but I guess Quinton will never have to worry about that.

I think that assuming Quincy gives that much work for audio is giving him too much credit. I would be surprised if he does anything in Audacity beyond just recording, bass boosting and reverb at best.
When I say that Q's work reminds me of basic AV club, I mean it. Motherfucker seems to only know the basics and the fact he has enough money to waste just makes me go more MTI.
Kiwis, if you make videos the least you can do is work your audio and make it good.
