The funniest thing about all of this is everything that happened on this sub and everything this mod did and the rest of the moderation staff did is exactly how Joseph Stalin and his Comissar brigade handled the Soviet revolution after they had sealed their power. They started taking actions, the public disagreed with those actions vehemently, and the comissars did not tolerate it at all and just sent them on a train ride to Siberia to die pretty much.

The more I think about it the less sense it makes that a guy prouds himself for moderating 300 subs while he spends all his days behind a screen jannying it up while also subscribing to the idea of not working. This right here is actually a very measured statement of what is wrong with Reddit in general. The "mods" are supposed to be "moderating" discussion, not controlling everything happening and administrating/running the entire subs. I don't really watch Fox or care about their presenters, but this dude wasn't even playing hardball. He didn't insult the mod about being trans or even about the poor quality camera, lack of eye contact/ticks, or anything else. If anything, he TRIED to get the mod to make some good points and led them to the water. The mod was so unprepared for even basic questions that they couldn't answer a single thing. Waters, Carlson, etc might be dicks, but they were more than fair in this case, there was PLENTY of low hanging fruit to make fun of and they held back from even doing that. This group was insane for accepting any interview and especially insane for putting this person up there to represent them. This is the type of shit that would make even a legit movement look like a joke and kill whatever they were doing dead immediately all at once. If Waters wanted to play hardball, he could have. It only LOOKS like he did because of how woefully terrible the guy being interviewed was at every aspect of it.
