In particular, a Day 1 resignation offer called the "Fork in the Road" was sent by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Federal Government's central human resources authority
Have there been any details on how much the buyout offers were? I'm very curious but I have to imagine they're all under an NDA.

Having to send an email with "Resign" as the subject to accept the offer is so impersonal and cold that it's almost comical.

According to a contact of mine, this is only going to make productivity go down. According to them, since work from home was established productivity has been up by quad. This could be fudged numbers so that our brave boys in rainbow socks can play Marvel Rivals while on the clock, but if actually true it's gonna be kind of funny to see the aftermath. Sorry, fedbro.

It's this.
People forget that Kamala had the fucking Cheneys endorsing her, it was a unison of what was left of the pre-Trump RNC machine trying to prop up the DNC. As of right now we have Trump as the CEO of the American Corporation, and a Board of Directors of technocrat Silicon Valley data billionaires behind him, setting up the stage for the post-Trump state of affairs. It's a revolutionary moment for better or worse.
I only hope they don't drag Europe along with whatever painful restructuring happens in the empire's capital.
To be honest, I voted to have the government be pro-Trump. I'm not a libertarian so that's none of my concern.

Europe is its own version of that "corporatocracy". The fact you're scared of it means you just support the current version of it because that supports your views. It has its own set of techbros and businessmen pushing left-wing and globalist bullshit. You just don't care because it's doing what you want.

That's the government *I* want with Trump. Having a businessman run the government means they know where the waste is. Go look up how useless USAID as a program was for the US. And this time try go to some right wing news sites, the BBC ain't gonna do shit for you. I want the government to leave me alone to express my views. The previous government didn't, this government will.

And yes, Europe SHOULD be dragged in to the populist movements because your retarded governments are importing barbarians without any restriction and displacing the native populations of your sovereign countries. The EU was the worst fucking thing to happen to Europe and I know that's a view JERSH supports. The current left wing to center-left wing governments in most Western EU countries are bloated, but to a lesser scale because each EU country is the size of an average US state. Regardless, Europe is being driven into the ground and defending what's already there as though it's a net positive for you as a citizen is - well - nobody will convince you at this point if you think the current state of affairs in West Europe is fine as a "fencesitter".

Fedditards need jurno to tell them how to fill in survey.

They do realize that they may as well have written "I helped lock up innocent people because I hate Trump"? The people who didn't participate in the J6 persecutions will have no problem answering the questions. Answering a survey in that manner is a massive sign of guilt.

Finally, a thread I can contribute to.

They are claiming that multiple people have committed suicide in response to the resignation email ([removed] for some reason).

A bonus post, someone seething in /r/askcanada about Americans:

>Dear Americans. You will NEVER be forgiven.
>Your imperialist tendencies are disgusting. My people are prepared to give our LIFE to see your nation collapse. We are not alone, the Middle East will join us along with South America and Mexico im the effort of liberation.

P.S., what happened to all the reddit archiving sites? ceddit is gone and all the others I can find also seem to be dead.
They should do it more then. Emotional blackmail isn't gonna work.

They'll just replace the remote workers with those who will work in office. Not a big deal.

I've had a look through, there's some funny stuff but honestly, I hate using Reddit so I probably won't trawl for more. But this post epitomises things quite well. IMG_20250205_191826.jpg

Disclaimer, not an American, but I would imagine there are lots of very competent people and those who do important work. The thing is, neither of these groups worth their salt would be quaking in their boots about downsizing.

Either they take the offer and get paid just as much if not more to work elsewhere, or they sit comfortably and watch this go by.

To me, people upset fall into two camps. Career bloats who went into and stuck with government work with the intention of being senior enough to find a cushy role where they loaf off all day and cash out for an early pension and are upset they can't pull off what is effectively a long-term welfare scam, or the professionally useless who take advantage of it being much more difficult to get fired who know damn well they can't do shit in the real world.

Finally, I think this subreddit is emblematic of the sorts of people who work in government to 'make a difference', to try activism from within. You were not voted in, you have no authority to force your shit ideas on people. This mindset is big problem with the UK civil service and I'm glad to see Trump kicking a beehive up at these people to remind them that as public servants you are subservient to the will of the people, not custodians who decide what is right because you know better.

If you considered quitting because you don't like the guy the public voted in, you should never have been hired to work for the government of any democracy. Eat shit.

If “productivity” has gone up so much, how come federal services are all so much slower and shittier than pre Covid? Time to get a passport, time to get response for FAFSA and whatever, all up.

Fed redditor (fedditor) claims the feds have told them to stop whining on reddit. A resistance forms as fedditor brother against brother takes up arms, and we must ask ourselves:

WHO IS GAYER? THE FEDS OR REDDIT? I'm honestly not prepared to answer.

PS: /r/fednews is scandalous gossip daily if you haven't already figured that out.

Yet. Mwhahahahahahahaha

They know they are useless and can’t find the same soft jobs elsewhere.
I mean you have a point. The people freaking out are the guys in the office that just staple papers for everyone else and do bitch shit. The people you don't hear though, that likely are excited for this offer, are those that wanted a excuse to quit. Now they have one + 8 months pay.
