Oh I agree, she isn't happy about it. Obviously he's done the math and its cheaper to keep her, the tricky part for him is getting her to allow him to get his strange and not having her sign the papers. But don't kid yourself about her reason to stay, I doubt it is anything to do with wanting to please or be with him at this point and more likely that she is sticking around for the money and the connections he has, if he didn't have those she would be long gone.
