Gonna be honest, Monarchists follow a proven ideology that doesn't immediately collapse after 100 years. It was the only ideology for thousands of years, and only for the past 100, it's been out of fashion. Yet over the past 100 years, all communist governments have collapsed (USSR, Eastern Bloc), or have turned into faux communist countries (Vietnam and China)

The "Monarchist ideology" as you call it only ever really existed in the late victorian era.
The monarchism which lasted longest, feudalism and it's later evolutions before reaching victorian era, would not work today as the material conditions have changed far too much for them to be able to keep power.
