I had a bit of hope for Vic 3 before it was announced because how can you fuck up a sequel to Vic 2??? i then lost a lot of faith when it was announced I heard it was the Stellaris people making it, then even more after the combat system was shown to be a joke, and then when it released it was so bad it hit what I thought was rock bottom. Then this happened and I have phased through the bottom of the ocean and am inside the inner crust.

Steam comments for said dev diary are a shit storm, with one person defending pacifica to high end, even claiming in the EU you can't fire people for "crimes outside the workplace". If this is true, I fucking hate eurofags even more

(Also they probably would be able to fire him, as the allegations against him are serious enough to harm Paradox's reputation.)

Whether they can shitcan Pacifica or not for being a nonce doesn't matter because they likely already know about it, the Paradox grand strat community is small enough that if you're hiring from it you've likely heard drama related to people

The middling response to Victoria 3 has led to a rather funny situation where devs are pretty much nowhere to be found on negative/critical threads. The only PDX dev to be found in them is Johan (the OG Johan not the Victoria 3 dev also named Johan), probably because he's an old grognard who isn't in tune with the modern dev echo chamber tendency.

Used to be the case that Johan at least knew specifically what to not do to completely fucked up, but he became a mana obsessed faggot and now fights everyone on the forums that talks shit about their games.

Check the Victoria 3 threads he's responded to. You'd be surprised. Some of his responses almost read like he's throwing shade on the Victoria 3 team.

To be honest I can't bring myself to browse that shithole again, just to see the mouth breathing retards that shill no matter what.
But I looked at Johan's posts and they seem pretty defensive, just not as bad as he used to be, probably because it's a game he hasn't touched.
