If I recall it's your standard OTL hoi4 but with different features, mechanics, focuses, and a new paint job.

Really the only reason to ever play it is because its a 1933 start date which means since it'll need completely new focus trees for every country it'll never ever be finished, because this is only announcing the full release of the 0.1 version with focus trees for the same nations that Hoi4 1.0 had plus Ethiopia.

They better make it fun and interesting with lots of different alt history paths and ways to escalate WWII earlier otherwise it will be just 3 extra ingame years of waiting. Does anyone remember the Calm Before the Storm mod?

Pretty much its a modpack, the devs has said they are going to add new focus trees including trees to allow France and Britain to start World War 2 earlier, its worth a download if you like vanilla hoi4 but last i checked its still using the old tech tree tanks and not the new tank designer.

Yeah I remember the lead dev being a massive tool who’s Germany dev diary was just him debating an imaginary wehraboo and owning him with facts and logic.

He also didn’t put any voice channels on his server because “they’re hard to moderate”

And banned people for calling CBTS “Cock and Ball Torture Session”

Pretty much. It would constantly tell you in your face that the stuff you're doing is "not very nice", in focus descriptions, events etc. It gets really annoying because the mod does it a fucking lot.

If you still have any faith with Paradox after Imperator and them squeezing every penny out of their paypigs with increasingly useless DLC, you deserve the disappointment and empty wallet.
