Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

Nah that still makes no sense. Most (99%+) of HoI modders have no critical thinking skills.
The boer were always more politically organized than the english and the defeat of britain in ww2 would mean a collapse of english power. Germany would easily swoop in, supply the boer with guns and such and south africa would become a satellite of germany.
A South Africa in a Nazis-won-WW2-scenario would be dominated by racialist Boer in a volkstaat: it'd be generalplan ost but in South Africa.
I agree with you that the whole set up for africa doesn't make any sense. If you wanted to go one step further I would say Germans controlling half of africa makes no sense considering they have bad relationships with italy which controls the land path to africa. Germanys naval power both in game and irl is abysmal so they wouldnt have been able to stage naval invasions and have proper logistics in an area as large as africa filled with a hostile population. I always just headcanoned that a kaiserreich canada situation happened with the boers where a bunch of british/ other western Europeans all moved to south africa which shifted the balance of power away from the boers which made them angry in the first place.

victory event, i havent seen any other russian unifier other than novosibirsk do these governments but that's usually because i have khrushchev/kaganovich win, and i havent seen any other unifier take bugeac (the little strip of romanian land on the coast near moldova)
on a sidenote i dont know why they wont make a generic 2nd warlord era for any russian unifiers that lose the 2wrw since they already have one for novosibirsk if they lose

That's because who's who during the second warlord era depends heavily on the type of man that is tuling Russia. For example, with Konstantin here, Yakutia could logically become independent because he deported/killed/displaced almost all of them, the same thing he did with the minds of Tomsk, but someone like Stalina or Krushchev wouldn't have done that, and under someone like Velimir the situation would be also radically different

Do you mean a Paradox game or just a grand strategy? There's loads of good settings to do grand strats in but I don't trust Paradox to ever deliver on a game again.
I mean grand strategy in general. I havent really played any new paradox games after hoi4 what did paradox do wrong with their newer games.

Rodzaevsky looking fresh for a man almost in his 70s, or at least better than Matkovsky
Rod was the only entertaining storyline from TNO for me of the ones I played. Something is extremely based about watching him go from a washed-up alcoholic who hates everyone including himself to cutting off the booze, cleaning up, admitting his mistakes, and adopting a stray kitten.

And he is supposed to be one of the bad guys.

Really weird that the supposed liberal polish man Pink Panzer self-inserted that cat story (Masha or whatever she's called is based on Pink's cat) using the national socialist russian man Konstantin Rodzaevsky, and that who knows how many devs were there went along with it. Altough Ibuka's story (the bad route, to be specific) is also pretty nicely done

Panzer was a wignat way back before he watched breadtubers. Maybe that slipped through.

What are the chances some of these traits are removed when Amur gets reworked?
