...
Antwerp is not on the rhine, nor is it upstream enough to cause any major issues.
It's one of the major european ports, a quick peek on google maps shows this.
Such absolute gay retardation bodes ill.
Attached is the USA rework made by Vote pig. Surprised no one looked into their leaked documents when they were leaked. Its interesting to see what was proposed and what made it versus what didn't but for all we know it could be planned for the future. Here is some stuff that is gleamed from it.
America no longer sees Japan as its primary baddie:
This one pisses me off a bit from having a relative who fought in the Pacific war. The Vote Pig guy tries to say "Yeah uuuuuh IDK why America hates Japan more. Like they are bad, but they do not do genocide on an industrial scale. like the Germans."
Cause they were the ones that attacked American soil and put treaty ports on two very famous and important American cities you ignorant tool! America would still dislike the Germans since they are a geopolitical enemy and also allied and helped the Japanese but it comes off as a thing I hate IRL where a lot of people tend to overlook both the pacific and how horrible the Japs were to coom over evil Nazis. Japs were so brutal even some of the Nazi attaches or even ones who just happened to be there like John Rabe were like "Hey! Chill with the autism."
Removal of the NPP:
As far as I can tell this one has obviously not been implemented. The NPP as a concept was proposed to be removed and instead the two party system still in place. Not entirely bad. A lot of NPP politicians and leaders were just IRL Dems or Reps, mostly Dems (document does point out that the NPP is an exaggerated version of the IRL Democratic party's wings as they had southern nationalists like Wallace and Thurmond and actually progressives like Scoop or Harriet.). See my last point below but interesting enough you can see how some of his new proposed presidents actually did make it into the game.
-Public becomes anti-war:
American public starts to turn anti-war once they see more American coffins return home and businesses start to use war time to make people work longer hours leading to strikes. I hate this one as it sounds like the issues that panzer era Aouth Africa had. The Americans had been attacked and wanted blood. On top of that they were attacked by in their eyes, a slimey backstabbing gook nation. At the time media was not like it was in Vietnam where it acted as a 5th column to actively hinder their own war effort. On top of that HOI4 leftists tend to use strikes as the best and most based thing ever but even in America most industry realized the threat and helped the nation commit to a total war economy.
-America nukes Antwerp and midway
America is not nuked at all and in fact they make fatman and little boy. They nuke Antwerp since according to the document it would flood the Netherlands and then the Rhine. Likewise midway was going to be devastating to the Japanese since America just nuked their fleet there.
-Gus Hall is still here but Yockey is cut:
The most foreboding one imo. We are probably never gonna see the SAFE act till I make my autistic submod. Gus Hall has an idea given where you can read more but he is basically given a lameduck presidency since congress made him president till they can find a real one. Yeah it sounds as retarded. His whole thing is basically stolen from their Yockey idea where Hall has to be a wholesome chungus socdem till he can go full commie and nationalize stuff.
-Basically TNO2 is dead
One thing seen here is that all of the American leaders are 64 or 68 presidents. Basically it seems they've secretly all but given up on a 20 year content game. I can't really blame them to be honest though,. Even their proposed 30 year game was a bit much. Interesting enough some of the new proposed leaders you can see in game like Romney and Schlafly.
What's funny is in this document itself to Vote Pig admits that they have to give this to the community like boiling a frog. Knowing a lot of fans would be angry at such a drastic change. Even ironically mentioning that there is a chance of this very document leaking like it was now.
