Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

Even talking about the Kalergi Plan is pretty bold. I wonder if people will get mad at them including "antisemitic conspiracy theories" in KX.
I saw a redditniggerfaggot coping and seething on the KX subreddit about how one of the Austria focus trees is going to have propaganda jew caricature set as one of the icons, so I'm pretty sure they'll get MEGA-pissed. Can't find the exact post rn, so you'll just have to trust me.

(And, yes I made sure my hazmat suit was airtight before looking at a hoi reddit.)
 
His idea was that mass immigration from Africa would mutt-ize the European continent (a bit like modern America), and then there would be no nationalistic spirit in the underclass because they'd all be rootless hapas like he was.

It's so infamous it has its own agitprop article on Wikipedia declaring it an antisemitic conspiracy theory, even though he was not Jewish.

So what are your thoughts on the update so far? The Canada shit annoyed the fuck into me so tbh so I'm gonna wait for NSB to be released and made compatible before replaying

Seeing the fan response to Tranbox Theory has just solidifed my view that TNO's fans are some of the most braindead people to walk this earth. Spent as long as it takes to make a human child just to add some shitty economics mechanic that would take 1 (one) week to code, based on Baby's First Keynesian Economics class, and some scattered events, released full of unplayable bugs, and they praise it to high hell.
Can't wait to see the massive exodus of coders now that they've finished the only thing that would require any code and can spend the rest of their days writing LGBT bluehair german resistance fighter fanfics.

There is literally a bug in the mod that freezes it whenever the fucking Winter Olympics happen. I tried annexing Canada as some irrelevant nation with <5 minutes of work put into it like Kamchatka but it still crashes the game.
It's like the mod's dev team is composed literal children, and that dev team gets swapped every 1 month for a new batch of equally retarded children. I've seen additions to other mods like Red Flood have the same weight in terms of gameplay additions as TT and it actually gets pumped out within a reasonable timeframe, not within an entire year.
Oh yeah, and about that fanbase...

As much as there's a ton of scrutiny around it, and the fact that I myself am not a big fan of the mod, you could at least explain why you don't like the mod itself.
I get you probably don't like the fanbase and the developers for ranging from being generally annoying and pretentious people to pedophiles who groom children, so I basically agree with you 85%.

Misplaced potential. Same reason I can’t stand Kaiserreich. I just want to play a game where Germany wins either of the world wars. But it quickly devolves into commie or liberal wank. I want to have fun in alt-history land, and I get cockblocked by some dev whose political biases ruin it.
Then the fans, who are lockstep with the devs, make atrocious memes and are generally insufferable make a bad situation worse.

I like history. I work with history. I’d like to have fun playing the what-ifs of history. But no one in the Paradox community has ever done it well. Its frustrating.

because that event was launched by g*rman civil war news event; ofc fucking scripters didn't predict that calling event from other news event would result in calling that in amount of tag count squared :story:
 
So I Yesterday I wrote pretty long comment about what I think about what I think about TT, but I didnt finish it and it didnt save itself so this will be short version.

AI can't deal with economy
It doesnt have much effect on player experience. And you can ignore it.
It will be another thing that will break in future update.

As for actual new content there is not much of it.


They should have spent that year of autism by making content for countries people actually cares about (France, f. France, india, Poland...)

They made Burgundy boring because with Globalplans you could have atleast illusion of having effect on outside world. Now all you do is dealing with internal crisisis.

It also committed the worst sin by somehow making the performance even worse. No doubt because of the "economic system's" values clogging everything up.
 
I wish they'd just make some sort of "narrative mode" or something that lets you either skip or trivialize the tedious menu clicking minigames that serve as little more than excessive filler if you want to tell a story just tell a damn story not a bunch of boring minigames to add extra layers of micromanagement
