Hello @everyone, this post is to address the topic of Einstein that's been discussed on this chat for the past days. Firstly, I'd like to direct you to read the announcement over at dev-announcements as it goes into much more detail on the reasons for his removal. The original problem that brought about his first brig is the same attitude that has led to this second brig and decision to remove him, and the same problem that was discussed here just last night: The progressive decay into a toxic team culture of distrust, of which he was complicit in instigating. I'd like to reassure you all that this is not a purge nor a witch hunt, there is null relation to John's removal and the development team or moderation is not an evil cabal out for blood in revenge, this brig was coming regardless of that. Einstein's actions in isolation wouldn't merit a removal, but this has been a constant that he was approached for in his previous brig, an attitude which has only grown worse since then.
The development and moderation teams are over anything else concerned about maintaining team cohesion and a safe environment for everyone to work on the project we all enjoy, but this recent behavior has led to an increasingly agonizing toll into our shared mental health, which is why we have decided to remove Einstein from the team as his attitude showed only signs of worsening. As a precaution, we ask everyone not to add to the situation by generating more distrust or sparking a riot, by this we mean don't do mass pings, posting screencaps, or pinning messages related to this, as it'll just be a pain without improving the situation in any way and we'll consider disciplinary action. All that aside, we'll be announcing a new France Co-TL in coming days, we're sorry this situation had to come to this and hope we can all continue to move forward together as a team without needless distrust between all of us.
