Hmmm, what does kiwifarms want in a Hoi4 mod?
If you could make a hoi4 mod what would it be like and what would it be about?
If I wanna play WWII then I generally want mods that add new trees etc to existing countries and mabye also new tech to play with. Road to 56 is probably the basic example of this.

IMO the best total overhauls are based of a totally unrelated franchise (Think OWB, EaW, or the Minecraft Mod), so something based off something not even related to HoI4 would work best since it allows for the most creativity while still having fixed lore that can't be changed.

Make it a small scope mod based on one war. Like the British Civil War mod. Maybe make it about a modern day war like the Syrian Civil War. Have the map be a massive Syria divided into a bunch of tiles

more battle scenerio mods which are painfully under utilized. maps where you fight a very region specific conflict i.e Mexican Civil war, Hungarian-Romanian war in 1920, greco-turkish war etc

A mod based on the very personalities of this thread would already have writing miles better than most mods which make up fictional characters or heavily rewrite historical ones. All I would like is a mod that has an interesting setting to sell and fledge out. No yearly identity crises, no replacing narrative values with positioning within cultural or community debates, just an elite of developers making what they like without choking on it.

The Yugoslav Wars. Bring the scale down from division to brigade or regiment, use the whole province count to give it an involved map, and use focus trees and off map factories for NATO and CIS intervention and weapons shipments.

The is magna europa and magna pacifica mods. That made europe and pacific only maps. No idea if they've been updated in the last 3 major patches.
 
I dread to see what an Articles & Happenings dominated Kiwi Farms would look like.
HHH attempts a putsch, leading to the Warlord Era of Kiwifarms. With a few exceptions, each Warlord is pushing for the same position but strawmans the other warlords as leftists.

TBH this sounds like it'd be great shitpost of a mod. Doubt it could go up on any major mod website without being whacked though.

I would actually like to something to help deal with puppets and subject nations to allow me to tard-wrangle the AI better. Something like the EU4 client state system where I can choose how I want to release a nation, what to have it do and more. Maybe I am playing as Germany and want to establish a client state Poland after I take out all the eastern theater but I only want it to look like it did in the Brest-Livotsk treaty and not release everything it has cores on. Or I want to release Belgium as my commie puppet of the USSR but don't feel like also releasing Luxembourg as a single comune and want the Belgium puppet to have it. Tell my subjects to focus on building only infantry equipment and sending it to me, keeping only a self defense army. Or tell them to produce armoured divisions and I will be giving the tanks and they provide the rest. Or telling my Dutch East Indies to focus only on infrastructure and convoy building.

Stuff like that. I am tired of having to paint the entire map with my own nation and forcing a world spanning empire that HAS to be hell to administrate.

Fun content in less used areas of the map, one of the reasons I love KX is that the US Civil War is so much more chaotic and North America isn't an area that often gets used to have large battles in.

The fact that none of this was included in Together for Victory or Death or Dishonor which both expanded upon the puppet mechanics is a joke. I'd personally include being able to donate/lease ships to puppets as well since this was done during the war.
