I fucking hate how TFR cucks you out of the Chef path to make you go down fucking Navalny. Like, Wagner does jack shit. I want them to do stuff. Just a big old cock block.

Oh it's actually quite funny because in the Wagner state for the brief period you can have Shoigu as your defense minister.

I ain't Russian so i can't confirm this, but i've spoken to a few Russians and they all keep telling me the same thing, being that Navalny is fucking hated over there for the most part. I genuinely wish that his path wasn't a fake out.

just finished my NSM run, and it was very bland, probably the most unfinished path in the mod. you get like 2 or 3 flavor events (and 2 of those are right after you reunify michigan and 1 is during the war from a focus). they dont even get a news event announcing they reunified america or even a superevent. nearly all of the focuses dont even have localization for the descriptions, nevermind the fact that you dont get the event giving you back the navy (which the AWD gets) if you conquer alaska. the national conference which will always result in war as the AWD results in you outright annexing both the AWD and PF as the NSM, and the event for this even has placeholder text saying something like 'we've reunified america, yeah!'. they even share a generic reconstruction tree with trump, same focuses and everything except a different icon for the first focus. you retain the 'fractured movement' spirit even after firmly siding with one side, and the only thing that happens if you lean extremely hard towards one is some bonuses, nothing like congress and the military making moves against you as trump or the AWD factions taking over depending on the influence.
oh and the event to take on prewar americas debt is broken so you take on the debt either way

Nalvany was also hated by Finns, Ukranians, and Georgians for being a hardcore expansionist.
The guy didn't have much friends in the east.

The war only happens if AWD has more legitimacy than the other two

And yeah I've played a fair number of countries in TFR and NSM is the only one I would classify as "boring". Not only is it a snore but the tree is straight up broken. You are locked out of the reformist path if you don't take the focus "Following Germany's legacy" which is the hardliner option lmao. Other things you pointed out like the fractured movement spirit remaining despite going all in on one side. Also I noticed that AWD is pretty much the only tag that has loc for all focuses and events. I get that they wanted to wheel this out before the election but I hope they'll color in the lines pretty soon.

Even in Central Europe I have Polish and Slovakian friends who hated him because he was only against the Crimean annexation for procedural reasons, nothing substantive.
