For starters, the megacorps would play a big role in there. There's no way that multibillion-dollar companies just stand with their arms crossed waiting for the best. Places like Hawaii would suffer greatly because they are extremely integrated to the rest of the american economy, and their supply chain depends entirely on the West Coast doing good economically to be profitable. Alaska not so much because they still have a lot of oil fields which work mostly independently from the rest of the US. River transportation would grind to a halt, because the goverment spends billions every year just to keep the Mississipi navigable. Levees, dams, canals, and all sort of delicate and vital infrastructure would quickly deteriorate, that's without taking into account the fighting in and around the areas, or the sabotage attemps that some rebel groups would make to the facilities either with the goal of weakening their enemies or halting their advance. What do you think a realistic version of TFR would look like (aka a realistic modern American civil war)?
There'll be widespread rioting and gang activity, but drug trafficking from outside the country would be lower because they too depend on an stable economy and supply chain.
The political factions are I would say mostly fine. ATW and the NSM would most likely not be big players, they're small communities that exist mainly on the internet with little administrative or economic capabilities. But the Patriot Front is seemingly led by capable people, there's quite a lot of commies in the left coast, and many cult-like groups or small religious would be strenghtened in the times of crisis leading up to the actual civil war. There should be more of them out west as well, just a myriad of semi-independent communities minding their own business thanks to their isolation
