My hot take which is only hot to TNO devs, is that like I said before the U.S should support communists and socialists like Castro. Matter of factly this seems to have been the original way it was supposed to be. With hints of Columbia having it too and the U.S outright supporting Maoists, the Philippine socialists, and generally being okay with a resurgent USSR they can shove against Germany or Japan.
HOWEVER. And this is a big catch. Pan-African socialism, black nationalism, socialists who advocated for stuff like Indigenous rights be it Abbos, Native Injuns, or the Bronze race theory from the Andes should be the types that Japan backs and be reclassified as variants or subids of national socialism or fascism. They already seem to subtly acknowledge this with Japan support Pan-African socialists and real life a lot of niggers only hopped onto the socialism thing as they interpreted it as gibes me dats and a fuck whitey ideology. Without daddy USSr or Mao around Japan would be the only one who would willingly fund them.
I would even say it makes more sense as IRL they most adopted socialism as a cover.
