Kaiserreich has recently streamed their Russia rework, which didn't spark any discussion here from what I see. Any thoughts of it? I checked out the livestream out of curiosity, but kept getting distracted by one of the lead devs, speaking in a weird, girlish tone. They had their twitter handle available on the Kaiserreich discord, so I checked it out afterwards assuming I could get some lulzy political takes. Instead, just a bunch of lolis. Guess they must be a big fan of Nabokov?

I think the Germany update killed a lot of people's interest. I have half a mind to rewrite the scenario for it just because I think it's unworkable as it is.

Whats the qrd on the Russia rework? I know that they start with Savinkov in power now straight away but thats it.
Ironic since even TNO fags have had him as a soc. IDK if that i cause they unironically like him though or not. From TNO news since the thread has been a bit slow they announced another one of their updates: Fiji. Fiji is being added to the game.
Their ass kisser are of course kissing ass. Since as mentioned they did an effective commie purge on their subreddit. Still I find it telling this is the type of shit they feel like leaking instead of anything on Italy, Russia, hell even Manchuria would be nice.

I haven't had a reliable Internet connection for the past week so this stream is news to me. If I am remembering correctly, President Kerensky was one of the first concepts in KR, which was originally a white Russia victory mod. I'm disappointed the devs decided to once again alter well established background lore in favor of their own whims, in this case making Savinkov more of a Hitler stand in. Frankly I don't think I've been excited for a KR update since the China rework. Not even the mythical 1.0 update was enough to move me to boot up KR instead of KX. In hindsight the America rework was something of a red flag. Literally in this case; the CSA was somehow wanked harder then when they had a 99% winrate pre-rework. The power of socialist magic allowed them to spawn heavy tank divisions and 20+ mountaineers in rural Washington.
Respectfully, I must disagree. If nothing else, what was happening during 2020 is a catastrophe worthy of preserving in the lolcow section for the benefit of future generations. Lighting can strike twice, and with how unstable dev teams are, I bet there's already something going on right now. Problem is that a lot of this crap is hidden on discord, and the subreddits are actively policed, so info is hard to come by. The thread could use a good OP rewrite though.

The fact there's been little to no talk of majors getting a rework outside of Germany which even then is most likely not seeing the light of day again for literal years further proves my point of TNO development being a clusterfuck.

Yeaaah that's about right. I don't understand the mentality of the people on that subreddit. It's not even respectful disagreeing about which vision is better, the people there often act like political commissars doing the dev's dirty work of damage control for free. The goal post got pushed so far away that I remember seeing somebody justifying the cycle of recycling content with pointing out that base HOI4 gameplay is trash anyway. At that point why even bother making a mod for the game?
My two cents is that I don't neccessarily dislike the ideas here, but they really struggle to make it as memorable as older Kaiserreich lore. Kerensky's assassination which got mentioned here is a good example. It would have sufficed if it was atleast left as one of the last canon events that pops up every game. Instead, most new events are walls of texts that spoonfeed you vast details about the political stage, and frankly that's just boring.
