The original was actually Wrangel being in charge, it was changed to Kerensky after it stopped being All the Russias.

It was Balbo, Giani, Muti, and Pavolini. Balbo is the orthodox one, Pavolini is the reformist, Giani is the nazi and Muti is basically straight outta Red Flood because he's a Fiume simp

Pavolini being reformist is a misnomer. He's not like going to turn Italy into a heckin' wholesome 100 democracy like in Germany. If anything, he's a hardliner compared to Balbo but less radical than Muti and Giani. Essentially he wants better relations with Germany, adopt some National Socialist policies (within reason) and model the Blackshirts off the SS. So he is a 'reformist' but not in the TNO way, lol.
I actually like how all four Fascist paths are... Actually Fascist and don't really seem to beat the viewer over the head over le evil chuds n shieeet unlike Germany's content. Of course they're not released yet but that's the impression I get.

Question for the kiwi that's reverse engineering TNO from scratch: would it be possible to create a blank slate of the mod? By that I mean the base of the mod intact (map, borders, country tags, basic history files etc) but with the rest of the bloat left out. This could be a good opportunity to foster a healthy modding environment, where anybody can pick up the template and do something with it without the need to de-spaghettify the code themselves, but it's your call.

I guess they decided that Italy going democratic 50% of the time was strange? Though funnily enough, you can still re-elect the fascists after you go democratic. It does pose a personal problem, how do I make Gang of Four Democratic Germany distinct from democratic Italy? I'm still formulating ideas, but I really want to do an Willy Bradnt election path except in this timeline he's gone loopy and auth-soc. Also "socialism" and "communism" will still be dirty words in democratic post-speer Germany, so the socialist parties use words like "workers" and "patriotic" instead.

DH was mentioned as being dead here, but there's another dead vanilla plus mod called Calm Before the Storm. It was supposed to be KR styled (before KR went off the rails) but historical 1933.
Very doable. The map is very stable, though I'm still getting nudge errors I need to sort out. Regardless, the map is basically fine though initially the Alaska strat region was causing game crashes when I started out. The history files you'd probably have to clean out history files if you want to redo the tech, ideas, and/or use the character system.

Iron Curtain is adding fun alternate paths that go beyond electing the Soycial Democrats instead of the Christian Democrats in the West Slovadian parliamentary elections of 1963?
I was looking forward to CBTS but I started to get bad feelings about it when the devs insisted on not using the swastika and not letting you white peace the Brits and USA if you beat Russia and fought off or prevented D-Day. Then when it finally released nearly EVERY focus you did as Germany gave you a debuff of some kind and they never updated your starting 1933 templates but you didn't get enough experience to modify them yourself. I do remember a funny event where the mod seethes(and gives you a debuff) about Himmler opening a publishing company to print books and materials for the SS with the caption basically saying that Himmler has never ran a company before so this won't go well despite such a "company" isn't exactly in business to make a profit.
The big difference is that KX had its roots in a mod pack called Dankest Hour that kept adding more content till KX was born. Leaving all the discord drama out of it TNO hasn't had any real successful sub mods save West Russian War that were not incorporated into TNO itself. If there is ever to be an equivalent simply uploading and updating the mod before they added the dogshit economic system would be the best place to start.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do now. Then I intend to build off it by adding new content. I'm not working with any discord users so that's half the battle won at least.
