Fuck my life. At this point, I might as well make a focus tree for Iran in TFR.

So about this: I've decided to go ahead with it, and unlike that Zawahiri mod I was gonna make, it won't conflict with too many files so I won't have to constantly update it to keep it up to date with TFR as it updates. And with @Nuclear Operative as my personal slave, I thankfully won't have to worry about dividing my attention between coding and GFX-making.
I have the general layout of tree figured out i.e econ tree on the left, political tree in the middle, small foreign policy tree to its right and the military tree. I have to figure out the specifics though, as in "what would make the Iranian tree unique from the other trees?', I don't know what to put in the political tree since I only plan on implementing one path (That being Total Shia Victory), as well as the general crises' they'd go through (Like Soleimani's assassination, COVID, the Iraqi civil war, etc.) Of course, there needs to be a big conclusion to the path so it isn't a big nothing burger, I imagine a big final war with Israel where they sway friendly powers to them (Arabian Republic, Jordan, maybe Baathist Iraq?) and then there's of course survivng the NATO invasion if they win the 1EW, the Iranian AI holds out pretty well until they get navaly invaded from what I've seen.
One thing I also wanna know about is what the right branch of Russia's foreign policy tree after the 1EW victory does to Iran, do they invade if Iran refuses to join CSTO? Overall, I need you all to be my professional idea-guys and give me ideas to implement.

I think western men (especially younger zoomers) who play grand strategy games (read, overglorified visual novels that are easily accessible to gatcha coomers) are probably predisposed to being anime nerds in their own right, no need for a Russian anime collusion hoax.

I don't know about the Russia variants, but I do know NATO can invade Iran if they win 1EW. Iran is basically invasion fodder which is assumed to never win against a major.

Why would they? Japan was well out of the way for the Sunni missionaries in South East Asia, nor were they ever conquered by an Islamic power.

Islam doesn't really missionize (we don't actually know how SEA was converted to Islam, but the prevailing theory is that local rulers converted for the trade benefits and then imposed the religion) and it offered no advantage for the Japanese. Nevermind the Arab-centric nature of the religion clashing with the Japanese's own ethnocentrism. If you mean because of how sexually perverted it is, every non-Christian morality system is like that to some extent.

He might be referencing the historical trivia about Japan allegedly considering to adopt Islam as a state religion in the early 1900's, but IIRC that was just the Japs messing around with Muslims to get their support for whatever they wanted it for.

I would unironically love something like this. Go full ultrapatriotism for America. America unites the Earth Super America leaving behind 14 trillion dead communists, all in the name of Freedom, Liberty, and the American Dream (registered trademark Coca-Cola). Russia becomes "New America" with the Kremlin being turned into the world's fanciest Taco Bell. Germany becomes "Dutchland" because we don't know the difference between Deutsch and Dutch. It becomes mandatory to break Spaghetti in the new State of Boyardee.
