Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

I wasn't reading the leaked Gitlab comments, I was reading the leaked google excel documentations. Specifically the complaint forum. I'll have a look at them soon though. Also, I'll reupload it so everyone can take a look for themselves, you'll need a spreadsheet program to read them. Probably just import into Google Excel.

Both are still in development and unless you want to go count every single person with a development related role online or offline, (210 before this) we'll have no idea how dire the long term impact could be. This part of the reason this was so hyped up is because of how symbolic a blow it was. Lead devs leaving back to back, former led dev disinterested in returning to his place, massive leak of almost behind the scenes developer content outside of the Discord, mass censorship of the TNO Discord and claims that everything will be fine and nothing mattered against the leaker's claims that everything was at least initially completely fucked behind the scenes with a supposed power struggle. Which right now sits at a "maybe"

I posted this in the meme section of discord and got warned.

Well, alright.

I'm an acquaintance of theirs, but won't tell my name for reasons of anonymity and because I'm not keen on getting fucked over in return.

Met them after being expelled from an alternate history group (Long story for another time) back in May or April for a roleplay thing. I got along with them because I liked them somewhat. Was interesting, to say the least, as knowing them involved me with TNO and Iron Grip, (another story for another time) along with other things.

But onto the more interesting stuff you guys want.

1. With the Discord roleplay thing, they always went for androgynous characters. Fucking always. Pacifica even put their own face on one of their characters as a reference, I guess due to his own megalomania. And with the horny tentacle monster, I won't state specifics, but let's say that some 'light' ERP went on with that.

2. Pacifica made an 'RP' lesbian relationship between another one of their characters, a socialist revolutionary from a Fascist America, with another character Isoted (Brought from one time and place to another) from 2020. (Not sure if another troon or actual girl).

3. Tended to harp on and on and on about some Socialist bullshit or whatever in character and out. In retrospect, not surprised.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, but I'm busy today, and will come back and add more if anyone wants more.

Whenever you have the time tell us more, as the more the troon is exposed, the better. If you can, add a screenshot or two of Freddie being a degenerate so that people can spread the truth around easier.

I'd imagine that anyone who isn't a commie is silent as to not get purged or locked away in roles that aren't content creation because their "no politic" rule only applies to non-commies.

From the 2000s to maybe the early 2010s and a little later, Paradox had a mostly right-wing (if not far-right) fanbase. The mods tended to be more serious, and there was less drama. I stopped playing paradox when they started to DLC-whore badly with Crusader Kings 2, so I never saw this 'transition'. A troon takeover was absolutely unthinkable in say 2010. What the hell happened? I had read somewhere that Paradox was trying to purge more right-wing members from it's official forum but I never saw it.

Military history is a 'tism magnet, much like Thomas the Tank Engine or Sonic. Most of the people I know that are obsessed with military history are somewhere on the spectrum, including a troon. Add to that the weapons-grade 'tism needed to effectively play a Paradox game, and it's only a matter of time before the fandom troons out en masse.

Speaking of Paradox, they really are joining the ranks of scumbag game developers. They're smart enough to realize they have a niche base that likely won't grow anytime soon, so they develop methods to milk their exceptional fanbase for every last NEETbuck, like requiring you to have all the DLC before you can utilize fan mods in HoI IV (since the mods tend to be more interesting than the main game anyway). They've had a few misfires in the past decade, including HoI III, East v. West that never came out, Imperator, etc. I suspect you'll see a lot more focus on HoI and Incest Simulator Crusader Kings since those are safe cashcows for now.

So this video is a pretty good summery of events. I guess TNO redux wasnt anti trans at all but they are saying it is just because they want to shut it down. The mods seem very ban heavy and if you post links to this site or to the leaks. like i did about the mods being autistic you will get banned big surprise I know. And yes a lot of people on the team are some brand of gay leftism, but funnily enough, none of them are among the most productive members. I vividly remember the USA team lead (can't remember his username) dunking on people for believing dumb historiography like "muh party switch" regarding how republican & democrats are portrayed in the mod, or even dumber shit like "wow it's really hard to play a leftist president like Harrington, it makes america a conservative wank !!!" which goes without comments.
