I don't think it's that type of video. He didn't present evidence in his TNO video either, but anyone who actually knows history knows that the nazi leaders are portrayed wildly out of character.

I think he made good arguments for why in theory a confederate sympathizer wouldn't be on the same side as a nazi sympathizer, although I'm sure it happens when you got ignorant people buying the same propaganda that has Paradox portraying Alf Landon siding with the KKK and the fascists

The only possible justification is that Alf Landon did fuck all in his campaign and apparently going down Landon's route to get fascism you hire the Silver Legion or some shit (Because funny Kaiserreich) so they boost their own popularity. It is retarded as hell like all of Paradox's alt-history. Can't wait to see Democratic Russia be some revanchist Kerensky or then throw Savinkov in as a Fascist even though he died in the 20s.

The Russian civil war in vanila HOI4 is already plenty enough retarded. If you fail to purge the officers a second Russian civil war begins where the non communists are always led by Andrey Vlasov. Now, there are several problems with this. Firstly Vlasov was not of significant rank until 1940. By the time the Second Russian civil war can happen in HOI4 Vlasov would just be a division commander. Secondly Vlasov was unlike a lot of the other Soviet generals a true blooded communist, unlike officers like Zhukov he never served in the Russian Empire. Thirdly because of the two preceding facts he had little to fear from the officer purges, Vlasov was never a suspect, and had nothing to gain from throwing himself in with potential conspirators, much less lead them.

The only reason Vlasov leads the rebelling officers is because Vlasov is the traitor most people actually recognize, and Paradox likely didn't want to bother coding in more potential Russian heads of state.

Just further Paradox laziness. I would take Kerensky somehow smuggling himself back into the country despite being hated by pretty much every Russian for fucking up so badly. This Barbarossa DLC they are working on will probably reek of taking a popular guy from some mod and hamfisting them in cause memes. Look at their second ACW happening with MacArthur leading one faction for example.

Turkey -> Ottomans in last DLC works in this way:
Either Ataturk or his successor allows elections and new party forms.. Represented as democracy but they are at the same time Islamic fundamentalists.
After elections if they win they will try to purge military to get rid of Kemelists.
It will trigger civil war and during civil war you get option to invite monarchist generála to create military junta. And If you win they will restore Sultan.
I have almost no knowledge of interwar Turkey So Idk how retarded this scenario Is.

I also have no knowledge of Interwar Turkey save the population exchanges with Greece and Ataturk's Modernizing Reforms up to and including mandating surnames so I don't know how realistic it is for Islamic fundamentalists to come to power. I have heard that a big reason Ataturk stayed in power was the military being loyal to him as he had essentially built up the post-WW1 Turkish military ground up. Maybe that Turk that vanished can explain more.

It's a fucking Nazi victory mod. What the hell are they expecting? Puppies and unicorns?

Honestly though, I'm glad they put this rule up. It's fun seeing them spiral further and further down into lunacy. Might take another dive in those chat logs to keep the pressure up.

I give it month or two before they release update that removes Nazi imagery from mod .

Also if you are in place where you can't show swastikas on your monitor you shouldnt be browsing community of mod where Is Nazi Germany major Focus. Its like complaining you can't go on porn site in work/school because porn Is there
