I used to be on the Kaiserreich team, it is not filled with syndies. Most devs are near the center, a minority, about 20-30%, are actually far left. Nobody is beyond center right though. If you want to complain about lack of resistance in the syndicalist countries, blame the old devs. France is getting a rework where Catholic resistance will play a significant role, and Britain will be openly authoritarian.
Lore on the Commune is also being changed by the devs for realism. Now, Britain pressures France to sign peace in 1919 because they don't think they can win and France is getting close to breaking. No more proxy war. French socialists think the peace treaty is too harsh and that the government signed it so they could focus on suppressing socialists. They rise up and a lot of soldiers end up defecting to the syndies. French socialists win the civil war that follows. Also, the Commune being a hostile revanchist power is also getting scrapped. Shockingly, people in France didn't like WWI and don't want to have another war. Most of the rapid nationalists are across the sea. For Germany, having a weak, isolated France that wants to avoid war is better than having a strong, militaristic France allied to Russia and Britain. Where Germany fucked up was Britain going syndie a few years later, breaking the Commune's isolation. Germans can't see the future though
