I would say it has the greatest mix of political biases around, making it technically not biased.

You got the radical centrists who think deviating even slightly from our timeline is a sin, breadtubers who faint at the thought of giving any socialist focuses a +1 to Consumer Goods Factory Demands, tankies who think capitalism can be crushed by forming a front line and click advance, ultranationalists who mod so they can wank about the East Timorese Fascist State conquering the world with national focus bonuses in the 10000% range.

And they're ALL FUCKING INSANE. If at any point you find solidarity with any of these groups, know that they will poison your dog and eat your soul eventually if you stick around them.

Strangely enough I wanted to get into HOI4 modding but what stopped me was updating the shit everything Paradox breaks mods with either a broken mechanic or their launcher. I had a scenario laid out and everything but may just turn that into an ARG or role play scenario.

I may sperg about Kaiserreich later, mostly focusing on the CSA General Staff, their Russia rework report, and some other minor shit. Paradox's Poland teaser also deserves a rant but I might save that for another thread.

Edit: I know Rand isn't actually an An-Cap, but objectivism's outlook on government and economics is probably the most similar thing to AnCap you find in a relatively mainstream mod

With Rand it is somewhat more noticeable than usual, but I see what you're saying. In reality they aren't exactly crippling, but when compared to what you usually get from Hoi mods it feels like a big change to get constant negative political power.

They seem to mostly exist in the comments sections on Reddit rather than doing anything productive.

Unironic ancaps are the rarest of all four of these and I imagine they don't get a lot of modding work because they want their future underage sex slaves to do all the programming.
