I think some of you guys are misunderstanding the central "thesis" of /r/Truecels; it's the thing that makes it such a uniquely entertaining collection of loveshies.
None (well, at least very few) of the dudes here think they're deserving of sex. Maybe they technically think they're "entitled" to it - some seem to consider it to be a biological need, comparable to air or water - but they mostly acknowledge that they are undeserving of it. They recognize that they are either hideously ugly, too short, too autistic, or whatever. They believe themselves to be genetic garbage that is unfit to reproduce. Most of these guys empathize with women in the sense that they wouldn't fuck themselves either, were the roles to be reversed.
They believe themselves to be so unattractive that it would be against a women's biological nature to be attracted to them, hence they are "true incels." Compare to those whom they'd consider "fake incels:" take, for example, a traditional "nice guy." He could probably get laid if he just changed his behavior, or his wardrobe. Posters on /r/Truecels believe themselves to be the lowest of the low. Nothing can salvage their inferior genes.
These aren't dudes with unreasonably high standards who are only going for cheerleaders. They frequently claim to get rejected by extremely unattractive or overweight women.
