Looks like the PC port is dogshit
Allegedly the lowest rated Xbox game on Steam

Reviews for FM2023 on Steam are Mostly Negative now:

And who would have thought that The Crew Motorfest would end up being more polished than FM2023 on launch. I do wonder if GT7 is seeing more players, due to FM2023 being a letdown.

Remember ZOMBIE JEFF GORDON?
I'm currently replaying GT5 at the moment actually. I remember the days when having the Top Gear test track in a game was a big deal and people were cooming their pants over it. Too bad we never got a bad Jeremy Clarkson digital rendition too.

Right now I'm doing the 24 hour endurance races and set my gear ratios too close together, but I'm already 5 hours into the race so I'm trying to just bite the bullet and keep going.

Jeremy Clarkson did some voiceovers for car descriptions in FM4, I think. The biggest part about that was that his unfavorable comments about the DeLorean DMC-12, pissed off the owners at the time that owned the DeLorean brand to the point that they refused to license the car in future Forza games, until the DeLorean returned in Forza Horizon 5. And they didn't have any problems with licensing the cars in other games, i.e. The Crew and Gran Turismo, during that time. And you can add that to one of the many reasons why certain car brands are not in some racing games, or not in racing games at all.

In other news, The Crew Motorfest recevied a patch today, and the biggest change is a nerf to using Rewind on feats, to specifically nerf the Peacock Hills farming method for parts.

Play Burnout 3: Takedown or Revenge. But also get better taste in arcade racers.
I just like the way the cars handle in it, tried all BOs and they don't have the same carplay. Also, used the multimod on MW before I was able to enjoy it, among the BO/NFS games that I've played, it has the worst car crashing. Not surprisingly, Just Cause 3 had a similar feel but ofc racing content there is pretty limited.
As for the other part, what's better taste? I'm didn't like racing games at all until a few years ago.

Approaching the tenth hour of the 24 hours of Le Mans in Gran Turismo 5. Has anyone else ever completed one of these endurance events in Gran Turismo? I'm trying to space it out and take breaks so that I don't get too burned out. So far I just kind of put on some background noise so that I don't lose my mind, but it's difficult.

I managed to beat the 24h race on the chicane-less version on GT4. I pretty much did what you did: taking breaks every so often.

I don't know if it was just the PAL version, but there was this weird bug on the chicane-less Sarthe Circuit where, once you went into the pits for the first time, the handling would become hyper-sensitive. It also affected the B-spec driver enough that the bumps would cause him to slam into the wall on the main straight. Just in case anyone wondered why I didn't just us B-spec mode. Did anyone else get this?

Any there good open world racing or driving games with wheel support?
I wanna dust of my G27 and drive forward for a whole evening. I already have ETS2, looking to drive smaller vehicles though.

Have you played Re/Volt instead?

If you want extreme realism I suggest BeamNG.drive. It doesn't quite have gigantic endless maps but some user-created maps are very large. You can build any kind of car you want using craptons of parts and simply enjoy. Feels very comfy even with a basic wheel.

Like @Friendly Primarina, I did 24 Le Mans in GT4. I did a decent chunk of it but I had to go to bed for school, so I switched to B-spec after lapping everyone. The AI extended my already huge lead and I ended up winning. The race ended just before I left for school. I think did one at the Nurburgring but I can't recall much of that one.

I would farm the High Speed Ring endurance race in GT3, one easiest races in the game. I'd always end up lapping everyone at least 40 times. It was my go to way of getting the Corvette C5R. Got an F1 car once, that was shit was amazing.

B-spec worked fine for me at Sarthe. I did play on the NTSC version, though.
