Surprised that Chris admitted to a thing like that, but more importantly, why did you give him money?
He gave him pocket change. It's not like the people who were giving him commission money.

@Philosophy Phil, are you going to at least eMail Chris about the damage, missing item and shirt? He needs to be held accountable for his own fuck up.

I'd say something like "at least he sent it...?", but no. This is pretty shit.

I know it was technically a raffle so Chris was (supposed to be) doing this out of his own heart, but we already know Chris HAS the fucking Skylander thing, just not a separate one that he'd be willing to give up. If you're going to put something up for a prize, at least OWN the stupid thing.

I'm sure he would've actually bothered to pay for another model tout suite if they didn't cost USD$50 a pop. Generosity only goes so far, apparently.

Eh, I don't have a problem with this.

We piss and moan about Chris not having job, then shit on him when he tries to make a living off his "crafts". I'm against giving him donations, and over paying for ass-pat artifacts, but a semi-legit scheme like this is fine. Besides, as it's been said, a LOT of kiwis bought medallions and drawings from him before.

Now personally I think that's disgusting, touching shit he's handled with his cum glazed fingers, but hey, you guys have at it.

Hello everyone! A while back in March/April, Chris had the idea to sell his father's stamp collection.
https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Stamps

He opened up a raffle whose entries were limited to purchasers within a certain time frame and the video raffle was conducted on May 1st.

The prizes were to be:
One winner to receive a Son-Chu custom figure and a Skylanders Avatar doll.
Fifteen runners-up to each receive a Skylanders Avatar card

During this time, i had purchased a stamp that I had left review on here:
https://kiwifarms.net/threads/fb-3-27-raffle-to-win-a-son-chu-figure.29536/page-8#post-2166887

Well turns out all I had to do was buy the stamps and get them shipped to my house and watch the livestream and listen to the name Chris said at the end, I just won!

I took photos of everything and wanted to share them with you, along with some thoughts regarding the delivery, handling, and receiving of these prizes.

There was this letter inside the envelope pretty much saying "Sorry, it's not the full thing, I've been busy with everything else. " Although there is one point that makes me curious "I still have a lot of self improvements to make" I've been heavy on Chris for not willing to surrender his Ego, and am actually kind of surprised he admitted a flaw.
View attachment 276918 This was a second letter, however I have no idea what it is talking about. Sounds like something from this Skylanders thing.

Delivery date: 3 months late, Handling: As said before the Son Chu box itself wasn't properly closed after opened, so bits were found in shipping box. Also the grey bits are assumingly either broken off, or broken in handling. Receiving: Although I have received Son Chu, I have not received a Skylanders doll. A Long-Small t-shirt doesn't fit many people, and I am assuming that is what size Chris thinks my cover to be (wrote in female name of a friend), All in all, I'm happy it [finally] got here; however like Chris said before "There are a lot of improvements to be made." The thing of most value in this set of prizes is hand written evidence of Chris saying "I need to make a lot of self improvement." I guess it is kind of weird [and foolish], but I value this little tidbit of hope than I do with everything else.

Only thing custom was the bad paint job on Chromedome and the front of the box.

Getting rebates from giant companies takes less time than he does to send you shit, that's a terrifying thought.

Why the hell did you buy his stamps?

Alright, here's my take on at least Son-Chu's shit:

- Chris shows a surprising level of competency in how he blended his own art shit into the 'official' stuff on what was Breakaway's box. And by that I mean it isn't obviously taped on shit because whatever the fuck Lego minifigure Chris is doing here confuses the shit out of me (and obviously isn't on the original package)

- Any piece of paper that's mainly red, black, and gray are original instructions from Hasbro. As it stands, this confirms my original suspicions that this was a modified Breakaway figure, since it outright says so in the included instructions.

- The loose bits are as follows:
- Er...Son-Chi shield (turns into a lion, follow the 'Sawback' instructions)
- The second and third items, which are guns, are completely out of left field, as they weren't with the original model. But what's even more striking is that those are from Transformers Generations Voyager Brainstorm, from 2009.
Generations_30_voyager_Brainstorm.jpg

That was a $20 toy so this version of Son-Chu involves an even higher capital investment than the original.
- Fourth thing is I'm guessing the Son-Chi titanmaster, which naturally is one of the most narcissistic shitpieces Chris has ever made because the fucker is painted to resemble his own head with the heterochromia eyes and I garuntee it's blue because that's what Chris thinks his hair color is currently. No comment on the red face other than the entire face model was taken from a Titans Return Hot Rod. You can stuff this fucker into the lion shield thing or replace the head of Son-Chu with it...don't know why you'd want to though.
- Fifth thing is the only original accessory from the base Breakaway figure - a kind of "seat gun" which a titanmaster can sit in when mounted to the toy itself.

- The two-piece gun taped into the packaging tray is also from Hot Rod.

- Those two 'gray bits' are also from TR Hot Rod, being the detachable large exhaust pipes. This Son-Chu does not include the mass of bullshit CFMM backpack showcased on the original, so I have no idea where Chris expects these things to go as the only mounting point in robot mode is the 5mm hole sockets on each of the shoulders.

- Something new to me, thanks to your back shot, is that Chris further canibalized Hot rod and somehow mounted the spoiler onto the toy, as neither version of it at retail (Chromedome or Breakaway) have spoilers. Keep in mind that Son-Chu always turns into whatever car Chris drives currently, meaning Chris apparently thinks his Ford Focus has a racing spoiler on it.

- Also interesting to note that Chris basically took a Titans Return collector's card (probably Sawback's) and modified it to be a card for the Skylander, since otherwise it makes no sense why Skylanders would use an identical graph with the "20" line highlighted to the Titans Return card for Son-Chu when Hasbro doesn't produce Skylanders.

With all that said, let's calculate the new total sum it took to produce ONE of these abominations:

$15.99 Breakaway (Base figure) + $15.99 Hot Rod (Face, guns, exhaust pipes, spoiler) + $5.99 Sawback (Son-Chi + base for the 'Sonichu' head because it was orange) + $20.99 Brainstorm (guns) = $58.96 minimum. This does not factor in the following:
- cost of supplementary materials (paint, CFMM, color printing, etc.)
- how much Chris paid extra for figures (namely Brainstorm, that figure was a 2009 release and the house fire was 2014, so it is unlikely Chris had acquired the figure before the fire. This means he most likely paid extra on top of the MSRP I used as a baseline as the toy was out of production by that point)
- shipping.

So, basically, this figure alone has a material cost of between $60-80 and will probably slowly come apart over time because the paint isn't sealed.

Furthermore, Chris would be fucked if this had been an 'official' raffle in any way since being this late on delivering on promised rewards and still not providing them would be grounds for legal repercussion. Like, he spent what, over $800 dollars on Skylander bullshit and he STILL couldn't put one damn figure in the box?

Also, if you could, could you remove the 'Sonichu' head from Son-Chu and take a picture of what the head connection plug looks like? If my guess is accurate, it should look like a miniature lion's head.

Why did he alter the stats on the CWC card?
I'm sure he would've actually bothered to pay for another model tout suite if they didn't cost USD$50 a pop. Generosity only goes so far, apparently.
He probs couldn't afford it. When the cash was available, the 3d prints were not. they were the only time/quantity limited Skyman items.

His plan for the figures and other prizes was never honor roll worthy. Chrissy never appeared to consider the potential limits on the figures. When he was selling them, he wanted you to pay first and then he would order one, have it shipped to him, and then reship it to you. As he was losing money on every sale, I doubt this would have happened in a timely fashion. For the stamps, he made a few hundred dollars and gave away more than that in prizes.

As per the second part, I'm not bragging about "A penny got a video" it's more so of a response of "Sometimes giving Chris money gives content, if you do it right." It wasn't my intention to get a video, however one occurred, thus leading to content. It's not bragging, but rather validating the point.

All I seen at the time was somebody who calls themselves Philosophy Phil and posts verbose and generally insightful comments about Chris and his motivations, talking about how he sent Chris a penny over PayPal. I don't know, to me that seems kind of unfair and weenish, even if it did lead to a pretty funny video.

My apologies for everything else though. It's actually an interesting enough post and people shouldn't be discouraged from sharing their stories about Chris. My bad

Thank you for sharing this info, but you really should be cockpunched repeatedly for giving Chris money in the first place.

I was thinking about the bit about how Chris says he is still working on improving himself. That doesn't sound like Chris at all, and squaring up with the raffle winner out of the blue without some sort of pestering doesn't sound like him either. Could Jesquin be behind this? Maybe she is nagging him to be a better person like she would do on Facebook. "I couldn't be a girlfriend with a man who doesn't keep his obligations! Hmph!" (Chris trots off like a puppy to mail out some t-shirts and toys.)

Unlikely, Chris had totally been on a 'he's improved!' streak through the Nightstar sock. Him claiming to be doing better and recognizing he has faults sounds more like him trying to excuse himself for being late with this shit.
